I don't think that's right. He's been unstinting in his support for the NHS. Standing side to side with junior doctors, consistently keeping the NHS at the centre of the debate. His calls for the scrapping of corporation tax cuts to pay for emergency care are what needs to be said. I'm not sure what more you'd have the man do.

I was genuinely shocked when I saw that poll, as I thought the NHS would be a strong issue area for JC and toxic for TM. How can anyone think TM and the govt can be trusted with the NHS?!?!

As for me being young, I should be so lucky.

Yes, this does seem like the only reasonable conclusion to draw. As mnb suggests, Labour do still regularly poll ahead of the Tories on the NHS. It's the one big issue that should be an absolute banker for them. That the introduction of the party leaders into the equation should have produced such a reversal is rather worrying (it also tallies with what we know about Jeremy Corbyn and his dire personal poll ratings). I like him personally but I think the negative perception that a lot of voters obviously have of him is going to prove very difficult to shift.

Corbyn like Michael Foot or Tony Benn is a good man who genuinely would like to change the status quo and help the poorer members of society, but he just doesn't have the personality to appeal to the middle classes or the well off business execs, and will never get Labour re-elected.

If the middle classes even exist then they're the B side as proven by the Brexit vote. He needs to sort his shit out on immigration, a stern immigration only where it's required policy would see him right. He does that then it'll be an easy win.

I voted remain in June, voted Labour in 2015 and have never voted for a right of centre or right wing party in my life comrade.
