The NHS is on its knees so what does JC do, float a policy which will dominate today's news cycle. Even if it was a policy I strongly supported, it's not the time and place! Go hammer the bloody Tories on a strong area for Labour and say nothing else controversial or new. Fucking amateur hour.

Jeremy Corbyn suggests maximum earnings limit

Compare and contrast with how TM talked about mental health yesterday, despite offering no new funding, and at a time when the NHS is trouble. She controlled the news cycle as a result.

I accept that the Tory press will give her an easier ride than Corbyn, but his media policy is shooting himself in the foot again.

I don't even know where to start. Corbyn is all over the NHS, be it on the front line, siding with striking doctors, in the meida, in parliament etc etc.

"Controlling the news cycle", like wtf.

But talking about a new policy makes the headlines, not what he's saying about the NHS. It's not rocket science.

The distribution of wealth is one of the most important elements in how the NHS functions, I don't know how you can't see that?

I want to like Corbyn. I really do. I admire his personal morality and ethical values. But as a leader the man is clueless and doesn't have a clue. There's bigger issues that need to be addressed before this. And secondly it's just talk with no clear idea of how to do it.

It's terrible media management from the man and his team. I don't know how you can't see that.

I'm not one to quote my own ramblings, but I just said Corbyn is clueless and doesn't have a clue. I'm blaming lack of sleep due to baby.

He's all over the NHS. Fuck the Tory press. They aren't listening anyway.
The NHS million campaign has more social media followers and retweets/ likes than the combined readership of the Tory press. Why can't you get this?

Deary me. I'm sure all those Twitter followers will help Labour storm to a landslide at the next election.

Have you seen the BBC news page? Talk about disingenuous. I'd ask how is that allowed but the answer is pretty obvious.

Are you suggesting that May talking about mental health without an actual policy and it being all over the news was good for her? From what I've seen the response was largely negative and asking the questions of how exactly she plans to do this.

The GREAT MENTAL HEALTH POLICY. What a load of old shite. Rightly ridiculed and ripped even by the fash press.
I thought it was Jezza that can't do "media circles" or whatever terrible nonsense that phrase was.

To some extent yes, compared with the bad headlines she was getting about the NHS. The initial headline wasn't about funding but that she was talking about it.

It was typicle TM, all rhetoric and zero substance.

Of course it is, and I totally agree with it. There must be a more concise way of saying it though.

Credit where it's due, I thought he was good today in PMQs.
Just got to keep going. Keep banging the message home. People are skint and are being totally shafted. Labour can change this. NHS, earnings, ant austerity message. These things are what people want to hear.
