Oh dear, someone from Chesterfield trying to be intelligent and failing miserably.

It's ridiculous how easy it is to you rile your lot up - I bet you all live such simple lives working as what a builder? plumber? That's about as good as it in Chesterfield isn't it? Peasants.

I'm pretty confident we will be out of the top 6 come the end of February, or at least no longer 4th as no one below seems good enough to go on a run.

The day someone from Doncaster gives stick out to another town and it be on point is the day I give up.

The towns on a par with Mansfield, someone needed to tell them lads near Wst Stand yesterday it isn't 1987 contrary to belief.

Wow - the playoff standard could be fantastic this year!

If you look at it this way, either one of City, Swindon or MK Dons are going to be in it (maybe writing PNE off too early,) and then you have PNE, who as much as they are known as the flops of the playoffs, will have Garner back, Robinson firing, and a still secure defence, then most likely Sheffield United, who have made some fantastic January signings, and look a very strong side now, and whom I'm sure will have a much better second half of the season than they did the first, and then possibly Bradford, who look fantastic on tonight's showing, have 2 big, physical strikers who are willing to put themselves about for 90 minutes, and are a constant nuisance for opposition defenders, and are built on solid foundations.

Not writing any of the chasing pack off, but just a general point - the competition for those 4 places this year, and the quality within it, is fantastic.

Ah - we'll be in here alright, don't worry about that.

I'll be honest, I don't fancy our chances at all in the playoffs. It's autos or League 1 again I reckon.

Odd thing to say seen as we have three parliamentary constituencies and you and them one. Minnow.

Anyway, 5-0!!!! Hahaha - we are going up! Simple as that!

I've never seen a team that sits in 11th so confident of promotion.

some proper tinpot shite in here convincing themselves they've got a shot. There's one place available for 'the rest of us' and it'll probably be Bradford. Or potentially Posh if they sack Ferguson and get their shit together.

I agree realistically there is one spot up for grabs. But at present about 10 clubs have a chance at that one place. And come the last game it wouldn't surprise me if there was still 5 or 6 playing for it. This league this season is laughable to be honest, for us to have a -22 goal difference and be as close to the top 6 as the bottom 4, and with a game in hand on some clubs is nothing short of laughable.

I don't ever expect us to be in n contention in this thread, my post was very much tongue in cheek. But the table is far to tight for a mid table thread so were currently in abit of limbo.

I wouldn't say Sheff Utd are nailed on for 5th, as by all accounts I hear that result against Colchester last night was rather flattering, so I'd say there's 2 spots up for grabs personally.

Glad we've got Swindon out of the way, and although we still have Bristol City, MK Dons, Preston, Sheff United & Chesterfield to play, they're all at BP.

Sheff Utd getting top 6 purely depends on them. They should finish 5th with ease and they're more likely to do that than go on a mediocre run between now and the end of the season and miss out.

MK Dons, Swindon, Sheff Utd, Bradford.

End the season now, I have spoken.

I would be delighted with that! Preston to join us in autos, Swindon and MK to blow it and Bradford to win the playoffs. Its the ideal scenario for us city fans.

Apologies to those who missed out, sometimes as an oracle and a prophet you have to dish out bad news. Good luck in 2015/2016.
