I am assuming that Russia will launch nuclear missiles at Turkish cities. Because Turkey doesn't have nuclear weapons. Apparently this is how deterrence works.

Suggested no one, ever.

Sergei Lavrov claiming that it's a pre-determined attack by Turkey. Russian co-pilot claims they did not violate Turkish airspace and that they received no warnings.
it will be pre-mediated in that erdogan likely gave out orders to shoot down any russian air force that ignored warnings

Heard that some Turkish threw eggs at Dutch consulate in Istanbul in a protest against Russia.
It reminds me that not long ago some Korean tourists were attacked by Turks who were angry about China. And one Chinese restaurant run by an Uyghur was also attacked.
It must take a lot out of them to accurately shot down a Russian jet.

You've got to remember that unlike China, the Turkish military tend to extinguish any form of protest with tanks and troops and long prison terms for those who protest. You've got to remember that other countries don't have such long-established democratic principles as China.

And as for taking a lot out of them.... One pilot pressed a button. Took about as much out of him as calling a lift.

Their military is barely fit for purpose at the moment.

Although I have a different opinion, I am still very flattered by your compliment on China.
But, I believe "other countries" doesn't include yours, does it?
I've only been to London, but I can also understand if things in Hampshire go very differently.

Yeh. This is how we deal with protesters in Winchester.

When you visited London did you notice that we don't all spit in the street constantly, we don't smoke in lifts, and we imprison and execute Scottish and Welsh nationalists?

No, I didn't notice those things. Did you?
It doesn't mean I don't believe you. It's just that as a first time visitor, I was focused on so many amazing things that I didn't get to see in other cities.
Maybe in another thread (this is going off topic right now) you can tell me what esle you have noticed in London. It helps me get a picture of your everyday life.

It's interesting that whichever side of the political spectrum we fall on we all seem to fall into this trap of tacitly accepting the white man as some kind of warden of the Earth.

Do we accept it? I would suggest that the white man took that role and never really considered giving it up. It is interesting that you don't see other Arab states storming into Iraq/Syria/Grenada/take your pick. But I see your point.

Oh cool. Hope you got to see us suppressing religions, our one-party political system and our laogai camps. Always first on the tourist agenda in London.

Don't see it myself. You're being overly zealous. Leave the China man alone.
