Well obviously Carlisle and the majority of clubs in the top half are too big for this Division, if I was you I would write to the Football League and inform them that you all should be in a higher division. But you state that the fact you aren't doing better is because of the luck of others? Your turn must be just around the corner, be patient.

Us 'minions' that are left will manage without you as long as you send back the ones in the higher divisions that you deem to be below your elevated stature. I am sure that they will be impressed.

If we have any reason to venture outside this thread after the next 4 matches, I'll be amazed....and also very happy - until Yeovil turn us over. That and Exeter are our only fixtures against a team outside the top 8 in the next 8 matches.

Clearly Luton and Exeter are settling in for the duration and I grudgingly accept that Stevenage and Crawley have enough about them to be out of the relegation thread.

It would be nice if 7 May is a play-off for the last play-off spot but can't see it.

I agree there we seem to be in a false position with so many teams having games over us I can't see all of them dropping enough points so that we keep that top 7 place.

Yep exactly. So it's usually a side who has played more games than others. We're in prime contention for this if we have an average/poor month or so.

I'm not sure about that. Southend weren't that great in League 2 last season and they're doing pretty well in League 1 this season.

Yep, I totally disagree. Most playoff contenders are mon€¥bag$ teams and could afford to strengthen in the division above.

Accy could struggle for sure but Rochdale have no money either and they're doing all right.

We'd come straight back down again for sure but that's just what we do. Doubt we've got a serious shot at the playoffs this time anyway, we had a better squad last time and still blew it.
