What's the point in having a democratic vote and people that loose then want it overturned. Similar to Trump and USA politics where he lost but didn't like it. If Dorking do get it overturned, then every club that can't afford to carry on can sue Dorking for the money to continue.

Don’t see anything from them questioning the resolutions when they were first sent out, in respect of their legality. But now the Vote is suiting their wish, the threats come out of legal action.

States 20 or so teams wish to continue and talks of mini leagues, the vote is not stopping them trading but putting a stop to the competition they entered. He has traded on numerous occasions prior to the start of the league season and during its suspension.

It does not effect his reserves or the academy so only a small portion of his business.

This is why the NL is going to have no option but to find a way to come down hard on Dover (and any other step one team doing the same), as harsh it seems.

You can’t make that argument towards Dorking, York etc and then let Dover opt out of the season without any penalty.

Relegate Dover and promote us. That’s the only fair option. Null and void in our league!!! Please no

If Dover refuse to play they should be relegated,
With league already 1 down that could leave 2 spots.1 from NLN & NLS in mini league from clubs wanting to carry on or promote one from each on PPG (Dorking & Gloucester I believe)
We had 22600 watching last night on you tube and record £££ from it that’s why we want to carry on even though you are a better team.

Dover aside for now, I can’t really think of what an argument would be against having some kind of newly devised tournament for the vacant spot in our league for anyone who fancies it. I mean, why not?

There are simply too few games for PPG?

By the end of this weekend most of the clubs will have played half their matches. The Saturday Tuesday Saturday routine that the clubs have we will soon whizz through the season

Seen a few Grimsby fans surprised by Chesterfield’s vote on Twitter, they definitely seem to think there’s far more chance of a vote in favour of null and void than logic would suggest. The chances of Ches voting that way have never been any more than zero.

Just read that Bromley have voted to continue as well, although not put out a statement for some reason. That’s one that would’ve had to go null and void for it to get close IMO.

We are still keeping ours a secret for some reason. I can't think for a second we haven't already voted because our gaffer has signing targets in mind that he won't complete until the fate of the season is decided

It would have to be someone from the South. We should all get a vote.

I vote Dartford. I like their funny stadium.

Dorking, because I absolutely want to see their manager rocking up in a snapback and skinny jeans on the touchline.

Where’s this on twitter?

As you say, we’ve been open from the very start about our intention to vote for the season to continue... I mean it goes without saying that I don’t think we’d have made 13 new signings if we planned on voting N & V!

How long is it till we find out the results of the vote? I’ve lost track on how long it’s been since the announcement of giving 28 days notice was!

I like all the faux concern they have about the integrity of the league and the potential state of all our finances going forward and how we're all going to be crippled, no shot, just say it like it is, they've had a shite season, hired a comedian as a manager and now they're in the sticky and sweating on snookers to survive, at least be honest about it.

Oh yes! thats that guy who looks to be in his late 40s but dresses like he's 20.

Whats his deal? He owns them too doesn't he?

Will we be due an announcement from the national league on what they plan to do with the likes of Dover and any other team who choose to go down that path now then?

I assume that’s the next step. I can’t see anyone else doing it - King’s Lynn as an outside possibility?

So what happens now then with regards to the teams that voted to stop?
I'm delighted we are carrying on. Bring on the hammering at Torquay on Saturday.

Feel sorry for the North and south clubs though. Must be awful knowing there is no football to watch in terms of their own teams for the next 6 months.

The south voted in favour of continuing as a division, which is a bit awkward.

24 step 2 sides in favour of null and void, 19 against... I'm sure there will be no fallout from that whatsoever

So what’s to stop all those with no chance of the play-offs furloughing their players and ending the season playing kids, this season will descend into farce.

Any responses from any of the 19 who voted in favour yet? Surely some will kick up a stink and rightly so
