Sad thing is, we started brightly in this. Had a few decent efforts and looked to be really taking the game to Blackpool. But after that, we faded. Still, 0-0 at HT, not the worst position to be in. In fact, that was the 13th time this season we've gone it at HT level. But for some baffling reason, we come out for 2nd halfs and shit the bed. Hmm, I wonder what that reason could be?

Garbage 2nd half. Think we managed 1 shot on target(and that was a weak Nugent header). Has there ever been a more clueless manager than Steve Davis when it comes to making changes to help a team win a game? He just doesn't have a clue. Unless one of the players does something out of nothing or they figure it out for themselves, he just can't come up with any tactical or motivational ideas to see us kick on in games. Shocking, absolutely shocking. I mean, his first sub today just summed his reign up. Took off Wilson(why?) for Saunders. So we had 2 upfront, but no right winger, so everytime Turton got the ball, he had no support on the right hand side. I mean, it's not even like King can't be subbed, but for some insane reason, he gets left on because....reasons. Some of our fans defend Davis, yet this fucking idiot is the one who saddled us with a player who is not only useless, but has to start every week. Or he chooses to start him. Either way, it's beyond idiotic.

He continues to play this awful 4-3-3 formation despite the fact it hasn't worked all season. He continues to play 1 upfront despite the fact neither Haber nor Dalla Valle can play it. How can he make the same idiotic decisions every week and not learn from them?

Only thing I will say, it was a bit of bad fortune that broke the deadlock. Ball deflects past Garratt from their RB. Yes, we had it coming, but the way it came was harsh on the defence. 2nd goal, jesus christ Atkinson! Brainless footballer making a brainless challenge. Another piss poor 2nd half effort, no intent to attack, out of ideas on and off the pitch.

As for Blackpool, no offence pool fans, but that was the worst team we've faced this season. Won and deserved to win, but I'd be amazed if we didn't play them again in L2 next season. Oh well, on we plod to next week.

It was basically more of the same but finally the beginning of the end. I'm still gobsmacked there are still militant Davis fans around with no sane argument to keep him but even our senile board will be unable to ignore that fan reaction. He won't go this week but I don't see him fluking a reprieve in any game till Christmas. He should be gone for the FA Cup - Dario, Gudjon and Holland all were.

It doesn't stop with Davis going though, it's still a depressing as fuck future. Collins + 1 (Baker?) doesn't fill me with confidence. If we must just move the furniture then I'd rather see Artell & Lunt in the first team picture, if nothing else they'll connect with fans a little more. Ideally though, someone with management experience is a must (unless his name is Danny Murphy, but yeah dream on there). Someone who won't continue status quo of Turton and Haber having an ounce of talent. Someone who plays entertaining football (Will Collins? Perhaps extremely harsh to judge but hunch says he will like the possession trying to be boring as fuck Barca football).

What a load of crap we witnessed yesterday. I'm embarrassed to pay large sums of money to watch us play passes across the back four for most the game and slow and predictable hoofball to the wings with zero end product because we only average about five shots a game. It's horrible. Say what you like about Hassall but Davis is a huge problem because his style of play is the worst I've ever seen. I don't want Collins as manager but he's a lesser evil than Davis, more in favour of an external appointment but we're a "special" club and "outsiders" are not welcome on the Crewe Alex gravy train. Hate that aspect of our club so much.

Great to see a fan who was telling Davis Out supporters to "be realistic" last week at the Gillingham home game eat his own words and realise how bad our current plight is under Davis. When you have Davis In backers genuinely at a loss to explain why they still want to back him, you know the end is near.

The only person I've seen publicly back him on social media (excluding our media, who have gone really quiet this weekend, must be on the Golden Mile on the piss!) is someone who wrote a book about Davis and has arselicked him continually for four years. You can argue all about budgets and money, but right now our biggest problem is this horrendous style of play we've adopted since promotion, it's hideous to watch and inhibits all our attacking talent, and there is talent in amongst those ranks.

Ollie Turton and Adam King should be nowhere near our first team as they are utterly incapable of any talent and cannot play football to save their lives. I feel an external appointment could get more out of Haber by giving him a bollocking and getting him to perform, but he's still a lazy streak of piss.

Yes heard a few of our fans were not let in due to holding up banners and protesting along side the Blackpool fans. What a joke that Oyston is. I do feel for the Blackpool fans with that clown at the helm. Football fans need to unite against these crooks within football. Including our very own Norman Hassell.

Honestly this has to be the lowest point for us now. A game were we had to show passion, attacking intent and ultimately win, we did none of them. 639 fans a credit to the club, great atmosphere and support for the players. The Crewe fans that claim the fans turned on the club and the players need to rethink there stance, because no fan there turned on the club or the players, just the manager and management.

I did however go looking for some sort of basis to these rumours on Mad (lolz). Found this and exited immediately. Posted by a usually sensible poster but frankly typifies the complete delusion of some fans and the club. They even answer their own question within the first five words.

"People can say 'sack Davis', 'sack the board', 'scrap the Academy' all you like, but how do you get this squad to pick up points before Christmas to keep us in with a shout of staying up?"

Mad went to the dogs four years ago, a lot of the sensible posters on there boycotted it. The ones that remain are people who adopt multiple personas and those Alex Exiles who are oblivious to the suffering as they rarely go games and think it'll turn around soon.
