so is it worth catching up on then? read up about it and sounded one of the better ones
If you are picking highlights then:
The tag match
The tables match
Ambrose v Owens (not the best but the commentators actually enhanced it for once and the crowd were pretty into it at the end)
Reigns v Shemaus (probably skip to the last 10 mins and the after match stuff)

I actually thought TLC was a very good PPV overall. Great ladder match to open it and even though I wasn't arsed for the main event at all leading into it, Sheamus and Reigns gave us a great match. In fact, there wasn't really a bad match on the show. But fuck me, most importantly, at the end there... did they just fix the Roman Reigns problem and actually get him over?

"thank you Roman" chants? And the crowd were going nuts for him. Interesting development, as I really didn't imagine him getting over unless he had a heel run at some point first...

On the topic of Reigns though, you've got to give him credit where it's due... yeah, he's relatively new to wrestling compared to others and yes, he's certainly going to have people turned against him because he's clearly Vinces chosen guy, but every single time the man is put into a big match situation, he seems to absolutely deliver. Last night was just another great PPV main event level match from him.

Trips at 30 to win, eliminating reigns after schenanigans.
Wyatt family to eliminate Lesnar after more shenanigans

Terrible wrestle mania with reigns winning following rock run in.

I'll be honest - loss of CM punk backstage being felt. Just look of the nxt talent being ruined. breeze the latest

I'd much prefer HHH to not be in the Rumble but distract/eliminate Reigns. It'd be nice if the winner wasn't one of Brock, Reigns or HHH.

If Brock and Wyatt becomes a WM programme it will be a crushing disappointment.

They're going to have to pull something big off for this not to be another shit Rumble, like fifth in a row of shit.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I think their main mistake was putting Reigns first even if obvious.

they have done the 'overcoming odds' route too much, so you cannot have a Reigns win because it won't help him at all, but they also cannot go via the obvious screwed route as that won't help him either.

I actually think the best genuine way for Reigns to 'get over' is that he deals with the bullsh*t stuff, gets into a final 2 with Lesnar who then battle for 5-10 minutes and then Lesnar wins it clean with no bullsh*t.

Mcmahons celebrate the next night, but Lesnar offers Reigns a straight out re-match because of respect for his efforts in the Rumble, in the main event at wrestlemania............in which of course Reigns beats Lesnar clean and hey presto he is over.......use the star, to make the star.

at same time over that period you have mcMahons get so desperate they turn to and invite in AJ styles and his bullet club to restore order, thus establishing AJ Styles instantly to the Main Event level (he frankly needs no build and he will be well known to most WWE fans and you have your summer storyline cemented.

WWE announced on Wednesday the Kickoff Show match for the official WWE Royal Rumble pre-show on the WWE Network this Sunday.

In a fatal four-way tag-team contest, The Dudley Boyz, The Ascension, Darren Young & Damien Sandow and the team of Mark Henry & Jack Swagger will compete with both members of the winning team earning themselves spots in the Royal Rumble match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship later in the evening.

My money is on one of them to win :eye: (On a side note, have the PTP split up?)

In all seriousness, I'm starting to think Reigns will win it as my initial feeling was Triple H (put £15 on him at 2/1 week or two ago).

I can't believe I'm about to say this but I would like to see Bray Wyatt win it, something different but its obvious its going to be one of RR/Brock/HHH.

Also Chris Jericho is really getting my on my tits.

I notice that Triple H is actually now currently the bookies favourite to win the thing, with Reigns in second and Lesnar third.

Whatever happens, Reigns simply cannot be allowed to win this thing, right? They wouldn't actually do that? They've done good work with Reigns in the last couple of weeks and actually managed to get people on his side. If he goes and simultaneously does the entry number 1 and win it and wins back to back rumbles, it's just going to undo all of this good work and he'll be as or more hated than ever.

Plus he doesn't need to win it. Have Triple H screw him in some way, that's Trips vs Reigns sorted for WM, it doesn't need the title.

I'd love to see Bray win it, even if he only holds it until Fast Lane. FL is the throw away PPV heading into WM anyway plus Authority screwing Reigns out of his rematch would work too, then you can do Wyatt vs Lesnar for the title at WM, and have Reigns vs Trips in a match then you pray to god Daniel Bryan/John Cena is fit to face off with Taker.

I'm starting to think we might see Undertaker vs Kane in a double retirement match.

The paint by numbers booking would be the have HHH screw Reigns and he two of them at wrestlemania.

I don't often fantasy book, but if it was me I'd run with the wyatts dominating the rumble. Have heyman debut Balor at wrestlemania against them. Around summer slam you run a wyatts vs bullet club vs reuinited shield

I think Balor and the Bullet/Balor Club would be much better suited to being their own thing, with Balor as the leader. 'Mania is too soon for Balor anyway, In my opinion. That'd be a great angle for the Raw after 'Mania.

No, but it's expected that he'll be a "surprise" entrant, probably at 30. I will reiterate that I think he'll eliminate Reigns without being an official participant. That feud doesn't need the title.

Would love to see Daniel Bryan return but even if he has been cleared imagine the uproar from the crowd when he gets eliminated ala last year, don't think they would put him in for that reason if he has been cleared.

Wonder what surprises we will get this year. Anyone watching live?

I'm undecided what to do as work Monday after 3-4 hours sleep doesn't sound thrilling or other option turn phone off Monday to avoid some clown texting me results and watch it after work.

I'm quite looking forward to rumble, no doubt I'll be disappointed after.

I'm off Monday so staying up for it.

No chance they'll have DB return in the Rumble surely. I get the sense one of the reasons they're not rushing him back is so it doesn't ruin Roman's push again.

RE Balor club i'd love to see them debut as fully fledged heels. Thinking about it you could do Balor vs Taker at WM and have Balor go over, what a way they could solidfy him instantly as a top tier star?

Suppose the main WM plans will be revealed during the Rumble match itself, i'm expecting to see a Jericho/Ambrose confrontation heading for a WM match and rumours are afloat that Bubba Ray will turn on Dvon and bring a WWE version of the Bully Ray character for a singles run too so that could be interesting.

I am avoiding everything online Monday until I get to watch the Rumble as I want to see the surprises haha.

Bryan's been cleared by independent doctors at UCLA supposedly (Meltzer confirmed this), just never the WWE ones. So it wouldn't surprise me, HHH thinks he's screwed Reigns over then Bryan's music hits at 30 would be a pretty incredible moment.

I'm still firmly in the 'his neck is fucked and he'll have to retire or wrestle elsewhere' camp.

Think Lesnar will win. They want to put the belt on someone who they think is the bigger name worldwide to fill bums and raise media interest.

Trip to have a helping hand in costing RR the title to set up their non title match at WM - possibly with Rock thrown in the mix there too.

Honestly don't know what's going to happen tonight. I think aj is going to debut but how I'm not sure

Valor club may also interfere with Kevin Owens match getting balor onto main roster? Don't think wwe have faith in him on himself

I think they'll go with Brock because the crowd won't shit all over that. They've already set themselves up for the crowd chanting for Styles and Bryan if the crowd thinks Reigns will win.
