Just keep it up, concede a few more to harm your goal difference further please!

They didn't even play well. We were that awful they thought they stopped us playing and started to believe their own hype that they would start winning again.

But like Leeds, when they beat us at Elland Road. Suddenly their team was amazing, and they could win the league :fl:

Thankfully, the Leeds fans on here are more sensible than the vast majority of their fans.

Much more concerned with the other game. Forest can do whatever they like.

Derby have been the most impressive team at the Vic this season, but if we perform like we did against Charlton more often we could be up with them.

Perform like we did against Huddersfield and we will be mid table.

With all due respect, you won't be facing another team as poor as we were on Saturday. Our non existent defending is what made the scoreline what it was.

Not taking too much away from Watford, you'll finish at least in the play-offs.

Apart from Middlesbrough's win last night it's not been a bad couple of days with Bournemouth and Ipswich losing. There's hope for us on the verge of the play-offs yet. Just need to beat Charlton on Saturday to continue our good form.

They played well second half, very well. High tempo press and they won every 50/50, every second ball and put us under an insane amount of pressure. We absolutely shat our pants. Wasn't pretty but it was effective!
It does seem like that second half performance derived from a dead man walking's team talk and abit of crowd momentum mind. They don't play like that every week or else they would have more than 3 wins in 20 or whatever it is.

We need to get this consistency together if we want a top two spot. Can't keep coming undone by teams when we've got our backs to the wall. More performances like the one we saw at Ipswich is what's needed.

These recent results potentially open this right up. Exciting / stressful times ahead I'm sure.

The Championship can be confirmed as mad, was certain Ipswich would be overtaking us tonight. Bar a 6 goal swing by Derby we'll be top going into the Watford game, great incentive for us to get back on track.

With Bournemouth Derby and Ipswich all losing it gives a big incentive to the teams below in the table. Win in Saturday and we go 5 points behind Bournemouth ... and were 8th!

Hopefully gain some ground tomorrow against Blackpool....

Wouldn't be totally surprised if we didn't though!

Really big game at Carrow Road tomorrow. A great chance to reel Brentford in, and hopefully overtake them in the coming weeks, followed by the rest of the pack above us.

It's on

For all the excitement about Villa in the cup this weekend, Watford at home next week is a far, far more important game.

You'll go above us on GD if you win.

Would settle for a draw here, our away record against the better teams isn't great.

Both teams to score is probably a pretty safe bet if anyone fancies a flutter tomorrow :D

I have that sinking feeling that Watford will end our spell at the top next week

I wish I listened to you, For some reason I did Port Vale vs Crewe both teams to score instead, and it was the only selection in my accumulator to cost me

Well we wouldn't get away with a first half performance like today against you and your defence isn't like Blackpool's.

I can see a few goals though...

The top two attacks in the league, live on sky on a Friday night.

It has 0-0 written all over it.

Our record is a bit patchy on Sky...

Should have lost in the return game at the Vic.

Yeah we felt very hard done by in that game at Watford. That early penalty miss from Ian Harte of all people. But yes I'd certainly take a beating tomorrow at villa in our "big day out" if it meant a win against Watford.

Friday is far more important. But football doesn't work like that, gotta take whatever you get.

Our attack seems to have dried up of late- Norwich & Leeds had the perfect blueprint of how to press us high and stop us playing; copy that and I think it will be another frustrating day for us at home. Not confident at all and would probably take a point next week and against Derby!

That game down at Dean Court in a couple of weeks is going to be massive!
