We lost twice to Reading this season :ffs:

Baffling.
Take away the results against Reading and the top of the table would look like:

1. Norwich 83
2. Middlesbrough 83
3. Watford 82
4. Bournemouth 81

Done our part to make an impact on the automatics..

We also took 6 points of Ipswich and 4 from Middlesbrough.Good job we did or we would be in relegation trouble.

Took 4 from us too, you must've had a decent record vs the top 8.

We've had a lot of criticism for our ticket prices this season (most of which is justified although of course it isn't only us charging these amounts) but play off tickets will be £25.

vs top 8: 2nd
vs middle 8: 2nd
vs bottom 8: 10th

home: 7th
away: 1st

Being terrible at home and against shit sides has cost us this season. Watford and Bournemouth picked up 19 and 17 points more than us against the bottom 8.

vs Top 8: 20 points
vs Middle 8: 6 points
vs Bottom 7: 21 points

Still got one of the bottom 7 and one of the top 8 to go.

Pretty weird record that... 6 points out of 16 games against mid table clubs is absolutely appalling.

Our record against the top 8 did improve a bit with draws at Derby/Wolves and beating Boro - in the end that proved the most vital result really.

If we score a goal on Saturday it will be a miracle.
You won't have to score. Either our keeper will punch it into the net or one of our defenders will slice a clearance in.

Well that's the only way we scored in our 1-1 draw with Blackpool the other week.

Millwall had scored 6 goals from the 6 games leading up to your fixture. We have scored 2 in our last 6, including now 4 games in a row without scoring.

As I said before, our best possible outcome is a 0-0.

Yeah, they've scored a few recently tbf. Still one of the lowest scorers in the league though, and had only scored three times in one match on one occassion this season.

Yeah but Millwall were fighting for survival. Reading haven't been bothered about the league since they hit 40 points in February. After tonight's game they'll have gone five games without scoring and even then, their last goal was scored for them by Blackpool.

Edit - and obviously Rovrum let Reading score just as I say this...

But they didn't actually threaten our goal as such. The first was an awful backpass that Grant somehow missed. The other two looked extremely soft penalties.

So Reading could very well go the same way.

Blackburn v Ipswich and Derby v Reading have just been chosen for sky this weekend. How many times on telly is that now for Derby this season!?

Quite a few times, but they're definitely the right games to pick, considering the automatic and relegation spots are now set in stone. I expect Sky were waiting for the outcome of the Rotherham game last night, just incase there was a last day relegation battle to be decided as well.

Yeah I think we would have been on if Rotherham had lost last night.

After promising so much, the final day is going to be a bit boring, isn't it?

Automatic and relegation decided. Bournemouth can still win the title but they're probably more likely to drop points at Charlton than Watford are at home to Wednesday. Can't see Hughton's Brighton taking anything at Middlesbrough, so 3rd and 4th won't change. There is no chance of Reading beating Derby which leaves one play-off spot to be decided. Wolves and Brentford are at home to already relegated Millwall and Wigan. So it's pretty much all on Blackburn/Ipswich and even then, Town only need a point.

Surprised one of the teams involved in the Title race wasn't picked, but Ipswich away at Blackburn was a definite.

I think this will be the 13th. IF we make the playoffs, that takes us up to at least 15.

Our players do end up being about 10 times better when we're on TV though.

I'm hoping both your teams (Ipswich, Derby) being on Sky will help in terms of adding more pressure. It's probably a bit of clutching at straws though, can't see either of you losing.

It's not as if you haven't already beaten us at the iPro this season isit... I don't understand the lack of faith considering that FA cup win and the state we're in.

I'm not confident at all, the only saving grace might be the fact I'm away and we usually do well when that's the case. I'm quite glad because I wouldn't like to be at the ground if we lose on Saturday....

It won't be pretty, that's for sure!

If we win though, can you please stay away from the playoff games too Luke? ;)

'The state we're in'

If Rammy got his arse into gear and sorted out some Championship awards thread, Derby would be a shoe in for most pessimistic fans, you're in the play-offs ffs. You would think they were on the verge of relegation to the conference north and bankruptcy.

Rumour going around that Rammy, Mr Elmo and Luke are to make the 'Derbyshire Knights' in protest to their disastrous season that they've had to endure. Blackpool are not alone.

Yeah we beat 10 man Derby in the cup. That was one of our few decent performances this season though. If it wasn't for the cup run Steve Clarke would be under pressure than he already is.We are crap and will lose. The lack of faith is because we are not very good.Derby will win comfortably.
