we can't score for toffee. Chester and amavi are decent but the rest are shite. we shall see what happens next season.
Baker's quality in this division. You're another team like us, sign players that have been decent elsewhere for good money yet they're shit/don't get the most out of them when they arrive.

Another 3 points closer after last nights win, with all the teams below us slipping up we now have a 4 point cushion with a game in hand I believe? Also a game in hand on Leeds which if we win puts us up to 5th as it stands, looking good for us at the minute. I don't agree that we're underachieving either, it's a harder league than last season with clubs who have spent way more than us, Brighton are also far further into their building project than we are, I think we've progressed nicely on last season. Although the football isn't as fluid and exciting as last season, we're far more efficient and we're picking up points against the teams we dropped them against last year, we seem to be learning I'm just hoping we've learnt from last seasons Wembley defeat for if we make it there too.

I like Sheffield Wednesday but I hope you don't go up, purely because we will lose walkley owl doing all those charts for away averages etc.

Absolute pandemonium last night. We were very poor from set pieces, which is a shame to see that we've gone back to that, particularly after coping so well with them against Leeds. Our general performance was again very good though, worked so hard for that winner.

Think Newcastle should be fine with Gayle coming back, 7 points out of 9 recently has been good for them. Brighton though... slipping up a bit? 5 points from 4 games, Barnsley away on Saturday and Newcastle coming up too. Could get interesting!

Norwich fans glad they didn't sack Neil now?

Think Norwich are going to put a lot of pressure on the teams in the play-offs as the season nears its end, none of us in there can afford to let our guard down or they'll nip in. If we can get that gap opened up to 7points with our game in hand i'll be feeling pretty confident. We are playing brilliantly but i am starting to think we kind of resemble Hull last season. Nobody ever really rated them when they saw them play despite them having obvious talent in their squad, but they did enough and picked up scrappy points to get themselves in there.

Our next 7 games:

Huddersfield (A)
Brighton (A)

Wolves (H)
Newcastle (H)
Preston (A)
Sheff Wed (A)
Leeds (H)

:eyes: Going to be nerve-wracking! If we are still in the top 6 after that then I'll be confident - in our final 7 games we only play one team currently above 16th.

I think we'll struggle with these games, still can't get confident about a run-in after we bottled promotion back in 2009.

Well the top six have had a blinder this weekend, 7 clear with a game in hand, I know Fulham are 9 behind with a game in hand but, IMHO, the top six have consistency.

Top 6 are now pretty much confirmed just a case of who plays who between leeds , you , Reading and Hudders as no one's catching Brighton and Newcastle imo.

Tell that to our fans...

I think we'll make it but a lot think we'll drop out with our recent form. Fulham need to pick up points from their games in hand before I get unduly worried.

Your recent form is perfectly fine other than 1 bad home result.

Yeah top 6 looks pretty much confirmed now, they're all consistent so I can't see how any of them will drop enough points to be caught.

I fancy Sheff Wed to win the playoffs and out of the clubs in there I hope they do aswell.

Lost away at Barnsley and Huddersfield. Were poor at Blackburn and yesterday. Basically we're dropping off a bit performance-wise but picking up enough points. The concern is we have tough fixtures coming up and got suspensions on the horizon for our defenders.

If we beat Wednesday next week then I think a lot of people will calm down. I think only one side can get in now so being in 5th rather than 6th is a nice psychological boost.

We've been winning "ugly" all season. Can only think of 3 games (Preston & Burton at home, Wigan away) where we were fully in control and comfortable for the 3 points. All our other wins could have gone the other way in similar situations. We had many more dominating wins last season when we finished 17th!

A draw will do.

I'm confident cos we are winning ugly which is a great trait to have.

Is it winning ugly or is that just the standard you are at? Maybe that's the way the manager wants to play. You seem to be getting some serious fucking luck I'll give you that.
