Very frustrating, another 2-2 at home to a side we should be looking to beat in our current position. Ourselves to blame tonight for some pretty shoddy finishing, should have been totally out of sight and in control of the game.

Only got ourselves to blame there. Could have had seven or eight. Only have a one goal advantage going into the last ten mins and the pressure piles on. Well done Wombles. Hope you survive. Hope we keep our nerve. Just didnt get the run today but thats football

Away to Burton and Oxford. Not easy fixtures for Luton. Gonna be an interesting week if Burton get a win and we manage to carry on our recent form at Sunderland. Donny dropping points means our game v Peterborough will be a big one too..... Lots to play for

1 minute from effectively sealing promotion, heartbreaking. How the hell Luton didn’t score four or five tonight I’ll never know. Still one point closer and everyone else would rather be in Luton’s position.

How on earth have Luton managed to find themselves one loss away from this all being out of their hands after the run they've been on all season?

Because us, Barnsley and Sunderland have been very very good most of the season too. We lost 3 on the bounce in Jan, but either side of that our form was excellent. Sunderland only lost 3 and Barnsley generally have battered most teams. 91 won't be enough to get promoted automatically this season.

It's quite possible that we could finish on 94 points and not go up. Never seen anything like it.

Not wilting under the pressure are you, surely?

It’s ridiculous how far ahead the top 5 are of the rest of the division. 13 points between 5th and 6th place. You just know 6th place are going to win the bloody play-offs!

Haha. We might now. Time will tell but not today. Totally outplayed The Wombles on the most part and could have had a bucket load but just couldnt score. They weathered the storm.and were dangerous on the break and then at the end was all them with us breaking. Hit the bar, three off the line, countless good saves, missed one on one etc.

So created lots just not our day. Wombles altho outplayed for the most part weathered the storm galantly and got what they probably deserved for battling so hard

Cant believe what Ive just seen. I'm positive I'll never see a more one sided draw (or ref) as long as I live. Mental.

The upside is that we were awesome tonight, fucking fantastic in fact. No worries about our form whatsoever. Just one of those days...

Been wary of this happening all season and why I’ve always been cautious. Not confident in the next 2 games at all, had Burton earmarked as a Likely loss for a little while, it was key to win this and take the pressure off. Having been seconds away from all but sealing it feels pretty crushing too.

Can’t help but think we will look back on these 3 2-2 draws as huge missed opportunities.

I hope Burton can get some sort of a result against Luton on Saturday.

Then we can roll into town on the 4th of May and fuck the party up. Looking forward to it.

I just can’t believe we have 91 points and still worried whether we might mess this up.

For those wanting Luton to lose on Saturday, our chances look to have diminished this week with injuries including top scorer Liam Boyce. Shame really as with a full squad at home I fancied our chances.
Can't see us winning now.

One sided ref that didn't give us a defo pen in second half The ref was not the reason you didn't win our keeper was.

Was this the one that was given as a free kick virtually on the line? If so, I’ve not seen it back, but my first reaction was penalty.

The refs in this league arent the best. Last nights was poor, but he wasnt biased he just was no good and didnt look to have the authority to control the game flapped around with bizarre decisions all over.

My initial reaction was pen but i watched it back on iFollow and it looked outside but close. One of those that they say evens out

Sobering in all this excitement to think that the three teams that do claw their way into the championship will likely be hanging on for dear life this time next year. Either that or already relegated.

Mine's a cyanide.

So, I think realistically we can call time on Sunderland for the autos. By the sound of it they probably deserved the three points today but we've shown our durability (and shithousery) again.

I wasn't there but it sounds like some t*sser of ours threw a smoke bomb into the home crowd. Happily, he was identified and arrested. Totally pre-meditated act that could have injured kids, or anyone for that matter. Words fail me.

Also sounded a pretty feisty game, to say the least. Both teams lucky to finish with ten men, apparently. Also a melee in the middle of the pitch after the game.

Can't look at the weekend yet. Need to beat Peterborough on Tuesday. They need to beat us to stay in the play-off race.
