Perhaps you will perhaps you wont i am no fortune teller.......We have just signed a 7 figure per season deal for naming rights to the stadium........Portman Road has always been portman road....I wish our Stadium would stick to the one name but it brings much needed revenue in. Two Pink Concerts in Early June and then a new pitch will go down.
In all honesty i do not know how much Portman Road is used out of football or what facilities it houses
I know you WONT monetise your stadium to above ours next season you simply do not have a stadium that can do that

Although the stadium name hasn’t changed, individual stands have had multiple names.

The south stand (now the Sir Alf Ramsey stand) was known as the Greene King stand when I was younger. The stand opposite the away end (in the Cobbold stand) has been multiple names since I’ve been going. That’s been the Britannia stand, East of England co-op stand and now the Magnus Group (local company) West stand. It has also been named the Pioneer stand before I started to go.

Sponsorship must be increasing since Evans left as the current owners are constantly out and about adding names such as MSC, a large company with headquarters in Ipswich, now sponsors of training and bench wear. Ironically Evans’ company is supposedly good at doing stuff like this but was never focused on at the club.

The owners also bought the land behind the SAR stand recently which they are planning to use to increase our revenue.

They’re clearly pumping in a lot of money off and on the pitch to improve the club as a whole in all areas. They know what they are doing, they’ve easily increased the fans support so quickly by simply taking advantage of the area the club is (only club in Suffolk in the football league) and working with the community.

Great sensible reply....Shows the club is moving in the right direction both on and off the pitch
Nothing to disagree on everything you have posted.
Much better than others saying we generate this much or that much then cannot back what they say

Fact number one more people will pass through our stadium gates in 12 months than Portman road
Yes i agree that this season you have bigger gates but our stadium is used throughout the year which generates
Revenue outside of the football.....IE England Rugby league and Two Pink Concerts
I also dont see why you generate more in advertising shirt sales bar the Sheeran connection and you are way down on the Sponsorship so again this baffles me.
You brought in 600k for Tyreece Simpson.....?????

Is any of your reply true??

As stated you lost 14m.........We have been there and hopefully never again
The Sheeran connection has meant his fans have bought our shirts for his concerts. Read somewhere a while back it’s the 7th highest selling football shirt worldwide of an English team this season.

Tyreece Simpson. Flynn Downes sell on fee. Dozzell fee.

I think you’re just very very bias

I’ll have a proper look overnight or tomorrow but we were 17th last year when Sheeran just sponsored it.

This year he was part of the design for the third shirt (the all black one) with it having his album on etc. And that sold far more than the one from last season which was 17th. Record numbers apparently with 40,000 sold by November.

22,000 sold when we were 17th in the shirt sales in English football. Double that this season. The suggestion we were 7th this season I can’t find any proof of unfortunately though but I’ve little reason to believe it isnt true when you look at the increase in numbers.

I think your information to be correct though yet again nothing official is ever proved
The year Peter Kay used Dwarfs dressed up in Bolton shirts we sold a extra 36 tops that season

It was the most popular top worn in pantomime that Christmas

It’s that tight on goal difference a 1-0 Tamworth win keeps Coalville top a 2-1 Tamworth win puts them into the final weekend on exactly the same points, GD GF and GA.

Nuts that one.

Decent side Coalville have with Billy Kee and Ashley Chambers in fairness.
Tamworth won 3-0 last night behind closed doors. So your second team now have it all to
Do..have to better the Tamworth result by 2. ( assuming they both win ).
It’s amazing to think non league teams play more games yet the season finishes weeks before the premier league does. Nearly a month. This weekend is the last game for the majority of non league teams.

It’s a very impressive number, even 17th is good going.

I know Wrexham’s shirt sales have gone through the roof this year too. I think it’s a common theme below the Championship of clubs selling more (though Wrexham and Ipswich have obviously sold stupid numbers). There seems to have been a real upturn in support for League 1 and lower clubs post covid.

We're currently 8-1 to NOT be promoted. That's crazy! Might chuck some on as a compensation in case we bottle it lol.

We thought we'd get huge requests for Baggot shirts from Indonesia, The equivalent price for one of our shits in Indonesian Rupiah and an average national wage of $7k would not make this item fly off the shelves.

Yeah, I was just replying to the point "Doubt your income is much more than us???".

The owners have put a lot of money into the club and many millions have been spent on the stadium, training facilities etc.

We have a lot of players that I think will leave this summer, which should take some pressure off the wage budget. Players like...

Joe Pigott
Matt Penney
Richard Keogh
Lee Evans potentially
Marcus Harness potentially
Rekeem Harper
Gassan Ahadme
Sone Aluko

Dread to think how much we waste on wages for the above alone! Although harsh on Evans and Harness, I don't think they will be part of our plans next season. All depends which league we're in though. So much can still change.
We'll take Harness back for half what we sold him to you for. Joe Pigott is unlikely as neither manager he's played under here has considered him as a first-teamer. I do think we've under-used him though.

I remember saying when you signed Ahadme that I'd be surprised if he did well for you. Seems like he can't handle playing in front of big crowds with big expectations. He had a storming pre-season for us a couple of years back and then completely disappeared when the real business started. I can see him still doing well at a club with fewer supporters like he did with Burton. Clearly knows where the back of the net is.

At the risk of being unpopular with the majority on here, I think Ipswich will go up and be competitive in the Championship next season. I see them battling for a play-off spot potentially. They have a squad already of Championship-level players and the resources to add quality to it. They have an up-and-coming, hungry young coach, the fans are fully on-board and they have momentum.

There. I've said it.

This season has been a wash. Taylor leaving and squad changes in Jan, plus us narrowly losing out in a few games we should have won all cumulates in early holiday on the beach.

We go again next season. At least we will get to see the Gargs getting smashed every week which will be fun.

Good to see teams continuing to roll over for Plymouth and Ipswich

I know they aren't, but ffs there's a good chance there'll be 4 teams finishing on 90+ points. Unprecedented.

I am of the same opinion. Don’t think they’ll be anywhere near a relegation scrap next season.

Never expected any favours from an Exeter side that appear to be going in reverse but it was still a bit of a blow as for the majority of today’s game we were one win from promotion.

Win Tuesday and we’ll be 5 clear with 2 games to go….surely?!

Ipswich vs Barnsley on Tuesday too. If they’re going to drop any points at all on this run in, it’ll be there (I can’t see it though).

Just more bollocks being spouted by the famous Masi.

Owners will not get bored, billionaires who are in no rush. Financially we're one of the strongest and safest, including much better than many of the PL clubs.

We'll also challenge the playoffs minimum next season.

Happy days.

Love the jealousy especially from the person who said Horwich have the best squad

There's no loans attached and no debt, so even if they got bored as you say, it's not a bad thing as we'd be left with a good base.

They're putting so much money into the infrastructure, pitch etc with no financial implications for us so even if they eventually left, we would have top class facilties, top class pitch, ground etc.

We have a bigger supporter base than a lot of championship teams anyway. Even living within our means we can easily be a settled championship side.

How the hell are you owned by Billionaires??..........You are owned by a Investment company. That company may have Billions but you live in cloud cuckoo land if you think they dont want a return.

Obviously looking to flip you if you are within touching distance of the Premier League

That squad you have now is bottom half of the Championship......Major investment needed to kick on

Heard nothing but bollox from your deluded biased fan base all season

Coming from the King of bollox himself who has consistently bigged up a very average Bolton squad.

Burnley over 2 legs proved we are way ahead of many teams in the Champ.

Simple as that, now move along.
