Don't talk bollocks, you just said I were only one you'd made a bet with earlier, I've said it once, don't insult my intelligence.

Because you're so bothered what you need to do is go on the premier league forum, this forum, the league one forum and league two forum and tell everyone on there to pay up their bets from the TFF.

Otherwise what makes you think I'm going to be the only one to pay up.

Are you for real, you make a bet and refuse to pay up because you don't think others have. At least we all know now that you aren't a man of your word, but that's no surprise now is it?

Mission accomplished

Little boy  it's a fuckin tenner, do you think I care? Dozens of bets were made on that forum, run along and enforce those and then I'll pay up. Astounded at how thick you think I am.

Btw you're a fucking liar cos you made the same bet bout Sako scoring more with like 3 other people, Rammy was one who went with Craig Bryson, run along and cry at him to pay up.

Your charm really never ends, does it?

On a completely othe forum that's shut down along with dozens of others, are you broken? Or have you forgot that crucial part to the argument?

Korey Smith was shite at Oldham?

Brilliant. Keep up the act. I'll go through pages of their fans forum to try and find the thread where a grown man declared he had tears in his eyes at the thought of him going to another L1 club.

Also, he had past experience at Norwich in the Championship, and their fans speak very highly of him.

As for Smallwood - Middlesbrough were hardly hanging onto him for dear life were they? He was offered for loan so many times the season before last, there were countless rumours of him going on-loan to L1 clubs.

You could go through pages of Rotherham fans crying about Revell, doesn't mean he's not wank.

When did that happen with Smallwood by the way? If you were switched on you'd know he spent most of the season with us before we signed him permanently 2 games into this season.

We actually had two bids rejected for him and they offered him a contract extension before he signed.

No arguments about Flint and Wilbraham, nice to see some realisation is happening.

Point proven then - loaned out to a L1 club exactly as I said.

I couldn't give half a toss on your opinion on Flint - we'll give it until next season and let him do the talking.

Well he didn't get offered to countless league one clubs andMiddlesbrough rejected our bids for him and offered hima new deal, so what point have you proven exactly?

Did you have him on loan when you were in L1?

erm, they were in the championship this season so what you on about?
Read my post - I said the season before last, so unless he misinterpreted what I said, I was referring to the season before last when they were in L1.

Your claim was that he was offered to countless league one teams not that he was loaned to league one.
Countless rumours I stated - I remember there was a rumour of it on OTIB fans of other clubs shot us down saying 'no, he's coming here according to our local rag' etc - and my point still stands - clearly M'boro weren't hanging onto him for dear life, and didn't rate him incredibly highly if they sold him to a divisional rival.

And back to my OP - you can't take the piss out of Korey Smith as a midfielder when your fans give out handjobs to Richie Smallwood.

I'd have Kieran Lee over Smith, Freeman and Smallwood.

I've not read all the replies on this thread, but quite a few, and seen other topics that suggest RUFC are already relegated. The fact is we were the Favourites for Relegation from League 1 and we won Promotion. We were the favourites for Relegation last year, but unless you have a serious vendetta against RUFC, you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who watched us and thought we'd go down. No matter the final position, points deduction and all.

The fact is, and no one believes it, yet he has 4 consecuitive Promotions and a completed safety bid with the lowest budget in the Championship, but Steve Evans is a Fantsatic Manager. Everyone bumps threads for their own amusement, so we'll see if this gets bumped. But I'd be very suprised, very suprised, if Steve Evans Rotherham United (see what i did there) gets Relegated!!

I don't for one second believe you had the smallest budget in this division last season.

It will be interesting to see the wage budgets when they come out of club's financial reports. I reckon we are probably in the bottom 5 or 6, Rotherham might have been bottom but not by much.

It's fucking daft for anyone to be predicting relegation spots at this stage.

None of the promoted teams have made a single signing yet and Rotherham also have a lot of work to do in the market.

I'd suggest it was Blackpool to be honest.

Blaackpool with Jamie O'Hara and Joe Lewis!!! You just have to laugh. Look at their Squad, they certainly won't have had the lowest budget.

They did have Nile Ranger on minimum wage

I suspect they did, regardless of O'Hara and Lewis, the latter wasn't played as it would have triggered a clause costing Blackpool more money.

They had plenty of players on low basic wages with bonuses and started preseason with a squad of about 7.

Yeah, i'd be amazed if anyone's budget was lower than the lasher's.

They supposedly pay a 'non-playing' wage of £150 a week, according to Tyrone Mears who knocked them back, anyway.

Respectfully, I'd recommend that you do read more of the replies. :err: I've posted in the last few days supporting Rotherham. I've said that the difference between most clubs in the division was not huge last season. In fact, during the season, a number of posters here have praised Rotherham performances, a fact conveniently forgotten by one illiterate Rotherham fan.

I think where people have got riled is opinion stated as 'fact' by some people (not just one person, either) then lavish and creative vagina-related insults being thrown about at those who dare to disagree with these 'facts'. To be honest, it goes well beyond banter and I suggest that it discourages many from posting in a thread lest their personal views by subjected to the same level of intimidation and crass ridicule.

Oh, and I watched us beat you 5-0 when you were in 21st position, hovering above the relegation positions suspended by little more than Stevie Evans spittle. It never crossed my mind once that you might be relegated.:conf:

It's amazing how one decent season after years of abject failure will get people to come out with the most ridiculous statements.

There's nothing to suggest you will
finish above us, the majority of your team are decent league one players, I mean let's compare some players on key positions; Flint or Arnason? Not really an hard one is it, on one hand we've got a one season wonder and on the other we've got a classy centre half who is a regular international starter.

Next, Korey Smith or Richie Smallwood? Smith, a player who was shite for Oldham in league one or Smallwood a starter for Middlesborough before Karanka and probably the best defensive midfield I'm the bott half of championship last season.

Finally Aaron Wilbraham or Matt Derbyshire? Wilbraham hadn't scored more than 3 in 3 years before joining Bristol and has had a mediocre lower league areas, Derbyshire on the other hand has played and scored in the premier league, won a league cup, intertoto cup, Greek league, Greek cup and played in European competitions. Again not a hard decision.

So if you get past the bravado and arrogance, it's clear to see that there's nothing to suggest Bristol are better than us now or will be next season, if anything it shows the opppsite.

That was such a fine post, I have sampled it for my signature.

All I can say for now is Steve Evans - hahaha :fl:

To be fair Hertswolf, I thought we didnt play to badly at yours, but just got undone by some super finishing. Adam Hammil had numerous chances to get us back in the game at 2-0, but i suppose it's all ifs & buts. Did you see us at New York? I know it was early on in the season, but it showed we had more than enough to be ok at this level.

I honestly think, we'll improve our side, and make another very good fist of staying in this division. As many have said, it is folly to pick relegation candidates at this stage. But for a bit of fun, i can see Charlton, Huddersfield & Leeds struggling this coming Season.

Steve Evans
"Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall all got relegated with bigger budgets than us, especially the likes of Wigan and Millwall, so it doesn’t really come down to that".
