It's that time of year again....

With the Pools lot now playing poncy football a level higher, it's a warm welcome to Southend United who bring with them their own unique brand of football (yep, abysmal, so they should fit in well).

Usual rules apply (I think).... so, 3pts for a win.... 0 for a loss (d'uh)...and 2pts for a draw (now this is where the Shrimpers lot go 'wtf is he on about, it's 1pt for a draw').... not in this league sunshine! .... giving each other an extra point in the REAL Brotherhood is the only true and fair of way of doing things and very, err, brotherly.

So, with no REAL Brotherhood fixtures on the opening day, it's week two that pits newcomers Southend at home to Stockport County - which is on the tellybox at 5:20pm - therefore it will be one (or both depending on the score) of Notts Co who host Torquay United in the very first 3:00pm kick-off of the new season who will top the pile come 4:45pm on the 28th.

Just leaves me to wish all teams in the REAL Brotherhood a fantastic season!

I know I should know this, but why aren’t Dagenham in the brotherhood? They once beat us 6-0 in League 2!

You don't know why a club that was formed less than 30 years ago by merging a few villages together and spent about 8 years in total in the FL is not a brother?

You’re a feisty one, I did say I should know. Personally I would also get rid of tinpot clubs where you can’t see the whole of the pitch from the away end.

So that would be you fuckers out as well.

Normally in the world of internet discourse, using the word ‘triggered’ unavoidably marks you out as a c***.

But as one of the brotherhood, I’m sure that doesn’t apply to you.

Sorry pal but unless the Brotherhood table is written on a toilet roll or a female sanitary product then it doesn’t count.

You northerners crack me up. I try and bring a bit of sophistication into your sad whippet-owning, gravy-on-chips-eating, flat-cap-wearing, watneys-pale-ale-drinking lives, and all you hanker for are the old days when you could get t'big pie and t'chips wit lard dripping for under £1 and you could take yer mam an' yer pa t'cinema t'watch t'talkies for less than t'ten bob and you had real t'brotherhood t'table hand-written on t'fanny towels....

....get used to it, it's 2021 for t'fucks sake!

Easy for the retirees of Torquay to say, reaping the benefits of your golden pensions on the English riviera.

Do you know what I’ve decided that I will be fair to B2TF and have a good look at whether his Halifax team should be allowed into the Brotherhood so B2TF, how many away fans did you take to Woking mucker?

Just me and 70 others at Woking and that's the most we'll take away all season. :ds:

But County never bring enough fans to need the use of the restricted view seats - same applied to Lincoln for years as well...

...which has the table looking like this:

With Chesterfield and Grimsby yet to make a start this season, it's plucky Southend who find themselves in a familiar position. Stockport could jump above early leaders Notts County tonight if they manage at least a draw at home to everyone's favourite Grimsby Town.

Watneys Pale? No right-minded Northerner™ would drink that Cockney dishwater. I know you're more au fait with fruit-based beverages in The South West, but why not use your fancy-pants "computer" to do some research on your "information superhighway".

Twas a great night for The Brotherhood last night. The second away-fan-turnstile got a rare opening up, and it was nice to be able hear the away fans celebrating over the grumbling of the home fans for a change. Enjoyable evening all round.

Anyway, I'm off to pick my kids up from chimney sweeping college.

I had no idea Watneys was from cockerney-land.... I just assumed (wrongly it transpires) that all shite beers™ came from 'oop north. When referencing shite beers™ in future, I will of course check that they come from north of Watford Gap Services...

Pretty poor of Stockport to win one. I hope we draw all our Brotherly fixtures.
