The thought of going back to Doncaster next season kills me inside. Awful place, ground in the middle of nowhere and we always get battered there. The only way League One will be bearable next season is if Blackburn come down with us and Bolton stay down. Six years ago, us Bolton, Blackpool and Blackburn were Premier League while PNE were League One. Bloody football eh!
its about fucking time

They probably feel the exact same way about Wigan to be fair pal!

5 losses in a row. Is it a bit wrong that I would rather be in a relegation battle (without getting relegated) than be mid table?

Nah I get that, our mid table dross last year was one of the most apathetic I've been towards us, even in our relegation year I was still paying attention, going to the odd game and watching when on tele but last year I wasn't even checking our results from xmas on.

We've pretty much had that most years for the last 10 years!

First to not be able to go down or up!

These will go as the league sorts the wheat from the chaff ahead of our dramatic return in 2018! :giphy:

Looking forward to Millers v Donny rivalry once again been a long time coming, just make sure you don't bottle it this season.

The last thing I would want is for Blackburn to be relegated but for your sake I hope it happens just to make league one that little bit more bearable for you.

Well, if you have any knowledge of the football league in the last ten years you'll know Donny can relate... as can a lot of others clubs. It's kind of how football works.

I'm also amazed how a Wigan fan has the gall to criticise the Keepmoat.

They bloody well shouldn't. Best pies in the country, lots of cheap town centre bars straight out from the train station and don't make me pull the FSF Best Away Day 2015 award card out as well! Doncaster on the other hand has zero bars, an ungodly walk to the ground and forget any pies, the best food they have to offer is a student manned KFC next to the train station.

If I could be bothered I'd screenshot you a mile radius around Silver Street (<5 min from Donny station) and show you how many bars and pubs there actually are.... stay boozing there until after 2pm and a £10 taxi to the ground, easy.
You've obviously not seen the Yorkshire Pie House on Silver Street either but that's your loss, not mine.
Little bit more effort required next time your out in Donny mate, people think the same about Pride Park and Derby yet a 10 minute walk the other way from the train station is a city centre full of everything you want. It's easy to just turn up and say it's shit though.

Most new builds are out of town and by their very nature are similar, style, atmosphere and surrounding areas. They're the modern day Stadium I dislike them.

Only time I went I was okay with it, however that was for Harrogate Town vs Corby Town so it had it's own unique charm because of that, crowd was either 97 or 98 too.

For what it's worth and aside it being a weeknight, my trip to Wigan last week was one of the best I've had in years. 5 min taxi from the Station to the ground with a good few pubs in close proximity and on the way back the town was dead nice with loads of pubs to choose from whilst we waited for the return train.

Not to mention you won the game! Usually a rarity when the Toon come to town. ;)

Couple of big games coming up for us this month, Cardiff at home then followed by Forest (away) write-off as we're absolutely woeful away from home.

If we don't get anything from those games Johnson has to get the sack but currently I'm still on side.

Think Burton's small squad will be their undoing in the end, think Blackburn will pip them to survival but we'll see what business they do in January.

If we had a striker we would be fine. We have signed Luke Varney, but as I say - if we had a striker we would be fine.

It's interesting to see all the angst and consternation among all the fans wondering if their team is getting relegated this season. Luckily I got my wish of not having to worry about all that this year.

Not quite how I meant though....

Would be an escape of all escapes if we did it again this season. The Burton defeat at home was a killer blow to us because we would have been just 3 points behind instead of 9 if we won, just shows what a massive game that was.

Couple of biggies again next week, Cardiff vs Burton and Forest vs City. Cardiff win that and they'll be fine, several points clear with a game in hand.

If we had lost today we'd have been down no doubt about it. Massive win and results largely going our way means we're one result off of safety again and 5 points behind Bristol City and Forest. However we've had a tendency of taking two steps back the moment we look like potentially getting out of the bottom three, not to mention our next game is at home where if we lose we'll break a club record of successive home league defeats.

If we didn't have Kodjia, which right now we don't, I'd be joining you in here. He best not get injured at the ACON, if he does and we don't sign anyone else, we're fucked.

Three consecutive wins (including the cup), only 2 goals conceded in 5 games, out of the bottom three, Sam Morsy on fire, Old Trafford next week. If Carlsberg did January's...

Move over, we're here for the remainder unless we get rid of the useless fecker running, or should that be ruining our team.
Love and kisses, charity F.C, we always give points to those that need them, well, anyone actually.
Yes, we're going down. :(
