Edmund is in great form at the minute, so it should be a great match next for him against Djoko, who has lost a few matches recently. Looking forward to this one. Come on Kyle!

Cracking win for Edmund - Djokovic next and no-one is really sure what sort of form the Serb is in given his last 2 walk overs.

Can Konta repeat her semi final feat from Australia?

Loved watching both Konta and Edmund and it's been great watching them both rise.

Konta's double backhand is beautiful and Edmund has one of the best forehands on the tour.

Edmund will give Djokovic a game

Agreed, particularly if Djokovic is undercooked which he surely will be with his lack of game time recently and the question marks over his fitness and private issues.

Evans takes the first set against Wawrinka! I still think Stan will come through but what a week this has been for British tennis.

Dan the man Evans up 2 sets to 1 on Stan! Superb tennis by both.

Andy had a tough test against the Italian but came through it eventually.

Great Saturday night entertainment and it's one of those nights you'd love to be watching it at the courts as well .

Murray thrashes Dimitrov 6-1 6-2 6-2 and plays Nishikori next.

An excellent chance to make another semi final and hopefully he will end up winning it again.

Yeah he was very good through the night and just completely overwhelmed Dimitrov who simply looked lost. Nishikori will be a much tougher affair but I still expect him to progress in three or four sets.

I've seen Monfils play some great matches before, but yesterday he was utterly scintillating! Looking very good indeed here.

Tsonga imploded before retiring against Djokovic, who looked superb also. Should be a great semi between Nole and Monfils, I hope this Frenchman gives him more of a match than Tsonga did.

1-1 in sets and Murray gets a crucial break midway through the 3rd and leads 4-3

Come on Murray!!

Nishikori breaks straight back again

Murray didn't deserve it tonight; after that point he went awol but should have went for a break at the start of the fifth. Kei capitalised and played well however and he's a likeable player so hope he can have a good semi-final on Friday.

As for Murray he's had a great summer, but he's still got the Davis Cup to work on next week so its not all doom and gloom thats for sure :)

I don't know why but his recent record at the US Open is quite poor in comparison to his performances at other Slams, hasn't reached a SF there since he won it 4 years ago.

Yeah I don't get that either as it used to be perhaps his best chance of winning a slam. Perhaps fatigue got the better of him this time; he's been at it practically non-stop the whole year only taking the last Davis Cup tie out iirc.

Shame to see Del Potro bow out too.

Will Djokovic win despite his troubles?

Yeah Del Potro ran out of steam in the end and once Wawrinka won the third set there was only going to be one winner.

It is set up for Djokovic again now but I've never seen Monfils play better so let's hope for a classic in their semi.

Murray looked like he couldn't give anymore and he just ran out of steam. It's not just this year that has been busy but last year may be catching up on him as well after having to play 3 matches in a weekend on various occasions to win the Davis Cup.

Hopefully a good rest will see him have enough for the Davis Cup semi. If I were him, I'd play a reduced schedule for the rest of the season. Forget the number 1 ranking as it's not happening this year now.

They've got this Laver Cup thing happening as well and a few of the big names have signed up for it though I think Murray is understandably hesitant to commit. That's a lot of tennis for him if he does.

Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares through to the doubles final after beating the number one seeds yesterday, lets hope they can win it, despite the elder Murray brother being a Man Utd fan. ;)

Serena Williams probably wishes she could roll up the grass at Wimbledon and take it to every Grand Slam.

Well Monfils challenge lasted less than 10 mins. Flicked over to the footy.

Fantastic stuff, didn't get to see it with watching the footy but Jamie is racking them up now and it will give him momentum going into the Davis Cup semi this week! :D

yep and it's great to watch a women's grand slam final without Serena Williams in for a change.

As for tonight, i fancy Wawrinka to beating Novak, but i can see it going all the way to 5 sets.
