It's still really, really shit. Shit writing, shit choreography, shit acting. This season they've just replaced the poor dialogue filler with poor action scene filler. From pointlessly shooting at that car for 20 minutes to the .50 cal just about managing to chip the paintwork on Ricks car. Pish.

Agree with the above.

Although I'm glad a bit more emphasis was on actually surviving walkers, I find it ridiculous that a handful of rotting corpses are able to wrestle an angry 500lb tiger with paws bigger than my head to the floor and kill it.

Not as ridiculous as the idea that a tiger would have the reasoning skills to reward the person who saved it with a lifetime of obedience and protection though. I fucking hated that back-story. Just make him a zoo keeper who raised it from birth and did some performance work on the side. Still silly, but not quite so patently outside the realms of possibility.

The tiger totally ruined any kind of realism to it, yes a zombie apocalypse isn't realistic but it was relatable. And the Shakespeare bloke talking like a prick doesn't help.

I don't know, these last two episodes have not seemed as bad but there is still a lot of irritating and lame stuff going on.

I just watch it for the sake of it now, not expecting it to go back to it's good old days.

I only watch it because I've watched it all this far so I might as well see it through to the end. If it ever ends...

We are presumably years down the line yet these people are still getting themselves into ridiculous situations whereby they are grappling on the floor with walkers, even though they've seen them coming a mile off.

Stupidity no longer gets punished in The Walking Dead. There's no jeopardy. We know who can die, who can't, and when.

I have spent a bloody long time catching up with this. I am finally back up to the programmes coming out on TV rather than just relying on catch up.

I started to get a bit bored. They find a place, they like it, goes to shit, they move on. Like a place, someone does something dumb, goes wrong, find a new place.

Series 6 was my favourite one, thought it was brilliant and left me thinking series 7 is going to be epic. Not such joy after a tense opening.

Enjoying series 8 so far. Why Rick trusts the bin ladies I have no idea and they are bloody annoying. Don't even know how they survived this far. Some of the war scenes reminded me out of Naked Gun. The scene where they zoom out and they are about a meter away and then they run out of ammo so throw the guns.

Still enjoyable though. Some characters are annoying as fuck and I love Negan. I think he plays the roll brilliantly even if the character himself is a bit inconsistent (doesn't let anything go yet he doesn't kill anyone who tries to kill him).

Negan is a shite character. I mean his introduction was unforgettable but he was more interesting before we actually met him I reckon.

He will only kill the head honchos not the workers, as he knows he needs the workers

It odd how Rick viewed as the hero when he was the 1 who started the war.

Negan has been quite lenient with Rick considering

The character crossover - the first for the franchise - will occur April 15th when the eighth season finale of 'The Walking Dead' and the fourth season opener of 'Fear the Walking Dead' air back-to-back.
