To concede two in injury time is a disgrace. Tranmere probably think they are the next coming of the Guardiola Barcelona now side after spending most of the second half 12vs10.

Dust yourselves down and go again. No need to dwell!

Carl Brook is 1 of the refs 'promoted' from the National League this season.
Not as bad as David Rock though

Gives us a soft penalty. Apparently the Tranmere players were giving him shit in the tunnel and second half he just lost it. It almost become comical in the end. The first goal for Tranmere how can he not see that! It’s not even debatable.

Nope. Just made up with the 3 points.

Thought we played well but you’re a decent side and a point probably would have been a fair result. Fair play to our lads though. 10 men or not you’ve still got to dig deep when 2-0 down. 4 off the playoffs and moving in the right direction.

Can't be happy conceding with the last kick but was the very least Barrow deserved out of that. Still not 100% convinced we have the ability defensively to stay the pace near the top.

Have to say am pretty pissed off with Luke Joyce right now. Really poor decision making from someone who usually makes the right one and ultimately it cost us the game I think as if we'd kept 11 on the field would have got at least a point.

I said before you would finish top 10 and I didn't see anything today to change my mind, despite me venting haha. Two pretty good sides today but the game was ruined by an absolute wanker of a ref, but it's League Two, it happens. Scoring two in injury time to win a game you very much looked like you could lose, I'd be wanking myself off all evening if the lady wouldn't do it for me if that was the other way around!

Cambridge 1 Barrow 1
Platt with a 95th minute equaliser for Barrow - but apart from gifting Cambridge a goal they did very little. we absolutely battered them after going 1-0 down and they can count themselves very lucky to get a point from that game.
Another game you should have won. Barrow should be top of the league on maximum points.

1-1 up at Harrogate today. Knew we wouldn't win as we get nose bleeds when we're leading away from home.

Been at work all day so no idea if it was a good, bad or indifferent draw but Watters scores another!

It’s a yellow, he’s late but referee couldn’t wait to give the red. Stupid tackle to make. It’s in their half and we are comfortable in the game. Worth an appeal. Their guy made such a recovery I can’t even account where the 6 game from. We only had 8 when Gibson broke his leg!

What are the odds that both Scunthorpe and Southend go storming up the table after today's wins?

Wouldn’t want to be in that vale changing room after the game. Askey will be tutting his head off and shrugging his shoulders like mad!

Surprised Brown didn’t save those 4 goals, he’s one of the best keepers in the world. We beat top of league one today btw.

Cheltenham comfortably the best side we’ve faced and we’ve played all of the top 8 except Forest Green.

However, if Gavin Reilly hadn’t shat himself at the prospect of scoring against his Cheltenham mates, we would have had an undeserved point from today. Easy chance that he has to score.

Haha he hasn’t been seen for weeks whilst his classy Crewe have been getting beat most weeks. Dare say he will disappear into the sewers again if we win Tuesday.

Shame I’ve given up on getting Ifollow to work as this sounded like an interesting game and given our defensive absences the only way Rovers would win was by out scoring Vale. Will form my own judgement on the controversial points when I catch them, but obviously delighted with the win. The Dawes/Parky caretaker team might be giving Mark Palios some thinking to do and have shown how out of his depth Mike Jackson sadly was.

I thought we were the better side in general play pretty much all game and deserved the win, regardless of the eccentric refereeing that affected both sides. Vale's penalty should not have been given and Vaughan's disallowed goal looked perfectly OK to me as well.

A huge result for us, which puts us within touching distance of the promotion pack.

I said it would not finish nil nil.

Great week end of results from the bottom of this tin pot league to the top.
Can see us in the play off places by christmas........Big investment January as we are well under the wage cap.
Some deadwood moved on......still time to be promoted automatically

Unlikely.

Oldham are quite bad, I can't see us getting a clean sheet against anyone else

Haha one thing we can say about our team is that we’ve got heart and desire. Seen it away at Salford when massively up against it with the squad we had and seen it again today. We’ve done that with no official manager in charge as well.

Agree that the ref wasn’t the best but I’d be absolutely raging at your lad that got sent off. Such a stupid challenge to make in the middle of the pitch when 2-0 up. He’s cost his team possibly 3 points there.

Anyway two sides that I think will be in the playoff picture come the end of the season if not autos so wish you all the best moving forward. Looking forward to the return leg at Prenton Park!

I knew it!!! so disappointed to concede with literally the last kick but it’s the very least barrow deserve, we certainly weren’t at the races, couldn’t keep hold of the ball for toffee and thought the work rate just wasn’t their like it had in previous games.

why dunk didn’t just belt it up field like everyone else had been doing for 94mins I don’t know and poor defending ultimately proved costly.

Positive that Tranmere were unable to really create anything against our XI men, but looking back at their recent results they haven't been scoring against anyone really so maybe not that great. Would prefer more possession at home but when you're 2-0 at half time when things are equal it doesn't matter too much.

65% possession and no goals? Olé!

Tbh I can't see too many complaints with our penalty, the red card or the "foul" on Pope leading up to their first. Possibly the conditions meant Joyce couldn't control his challenge and the red was harsh but meh. Maybe some doubt but can see why the ref's made those decisions. No idea on Tranmere's disallowed one though. Thought Legge kicked it against Tranmere's lad for the pen but he obviously went down convincingly enough for the ref.

Just gotta forget that one and regroup for Scunny
