Been playing Dying Light with Relentless. Lots of fun we're having. Drop kicking zombies is fun.

Is Relentless a drink or a person?

Dying light is a game also featured on our podcast, Invert Y gaming podcast, the only way to play... - (I had gone 2 pages without a shameless plug)

Finished Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Bloody brilliant
Just started the third one a couple of hours ago. Straight into the action, the first thing you do is have a gigantic bar fight in London where everyone in the bar looks like Jason Statham! :D

Didn't know that when I signed up for the trial for PS+, it automatically renews even on just a trial! Was pissed off when I got a message from them last night saying they'd docked me 6 quid for another months subscription even though I don't use the bloody thing! Decided to make the most of it and download Grim Fandango.

The only negative with the Uncharted games is that some of the levels are very short, and it doesn't take that long to finish the game. Awesome action all the way through the game though.

Went back to DayZ for the first time in a year, thought I'd give it another chance...

I was killed by a banana within 20 minutes.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain

I have no idea what is going on. I awoke from a coma and a bloke on fire and a flying, gas mask wearing imp are trying to kill me. Now a bloke on a horse have helped me. :dk:

Don't worry, you'll be back to shooting identikit soldiers in the desert for the remaining 98%.

I still haven't completed it. I lost interest about halfway through. I never thought I'd say that about a Metal Gear game :(

I'm not sure I've ever really followed a story in a MGS game fully. I really enjoy the games usually but lose interest in the plot. This one is just fucking bizarre.

Played the demo of the third game once, didn't like it and have never played a MGS game. There was a Splinter Cell and Thief game every year back then anyway so just played those for my stealth fix. Will get this one eventually once I catch up on PS4 games.

You are really missing out having not played one, two and (much of) three mate. Trust me.

They are just games I've not bothered with tbh. Like the Fallout series; heard good things but cant get into them (though will try Fallout 4 later in the year).

Fallout 3 was fantastic, 4 basically retreads the same steps but is enjoyable. Most people rate New Vegas highly too but I've not played it.

Yeah I started Fallout 3, saw Liam Neeson was in it who I can't stand, went out of the bunker and couldn't be arsed with it! :D

It's a bit daunting at first (once you leave the fault) - fantastic if you give it some time though. Don't worry, Neeson isn't a big part of the story. You don't see him on a regular basis, at least.

How the hell can you not like Liam Neeson? :lac:

Greatest Jedi of them all.

Qui-Gon-Jinn_d89416e8.jpeg

That's right. Greatest of them all.

Fuckin' come at him, nerds. He doesn't know what you want. But what he does have are a particular set of Jedi skills. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like you. And he'll save the Jews while he's at it as well. Fuckin' try him.

I've not seen any of the Star Wars films (sorry Oaf, please don't hate me) but I dislike him purely for the way he says "pal" in Fallout 3.

He was a wank Rob Roy, a wank Hannibal, a wank Zeus, a wank baddie in Batman, a wank Captain in K-19, a wank Jedi in Phantom (oh yes I will go there!), wank in The Dead Pool, The Bounty (when he was a least trying to act and still got acted off screen by an alcoholic Mel Gibson who was woeful in that film), wank in Krull, and all thon other shite films he's done lately.

All in all, he's wank! :box:

Yeah I gather that, but I get the feeling I'm wasting my life running silly errands around in games these days. If I was 25 years younger no problem, but I just play games for enjoyment these days, not to grind.

Day off work today so I've been playing a few games.

Life is Strange

I've just finished episode 2. I'll spoiler it.
Shit, Kate threw herself off the fucking school! I Blamed Nathan because he's a little shit. Loving this game so far. Might have to replay it after so I can see what the other choices do.

Resident Evil 0
Escaped the train and now In the 'Umbrella training facility'. Completely forgot how to kill those leech zombies for a moment, almost died and used a ton of ammo :(. Still think this is the most underrated title in the series.

Beyond: Two Souls

I've only got a few chapters of this left. The next one is 'The Mission' which is the only chapter that I don't find too exciting.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

My Crusader is level 62; I've just been leveling her by doing bounties and stuff.

Life is Strange! That bit ended me! I need to go back to that too, as I also planned on having another playthrough just to see how the choices pan out.

Reaper of Souls too, Im still grinding out those last few achievements, so nearly there with the level 70 with all 6 classes! Barbarian, Monk and Wizard are done, my Crusader and Demon Hunter are both level 60 something, just the Witch Doctor Im still finishing the actual playthrough so he's only level 30 something.

The one for all level 70 gear is bugging me too. Im still missing like one piece of equipment and every time a legendary item spawns, its one I already have!

I'm still none the wiser. I've rescued a dude and now been air-lifted to an offshore oil rig. Am I meant to be clued up on the story for this fucking game to make any sense? Really losing interest.
