i saw the first ever MITB match at Mania 21 before gym this morning, and then Guerrero v Mysterio & Orton v Taker from the same PPV before work. Anticipation is building up. Got my ESTA sorted out last week and all my tickets printed out.

i've printed it out, but you probably won't need to show it. as long as your on the system your alright. it attachs itself electronically to your passport i think.

i can tell you know as i've got my flight details next to me. flying from manchester to philli at 9.45am, then getting a plane from philli to san fran at 4.05pm. right now i'm looking for some nearby outlet malls as i've been told sports gear is DIRT cheap in those places. i'll be getting me some new running trainers while im over there

But yeah, I intend on getting some clothes and shit over there as well. It's just going to be a dangerous game trying not to go over the weight limits... can't be arsed to have a fee slapped on for luggage allowance. And considering the fact that I'm away for 24 days, I'd imagine that I'll be taking a fair bit of luggage anyway...

Also, a lot of people keep expecting me to be buying a fuck load of WWE merch at Axxess/WM/Raw. I'm just wondering, from people who have been to live events before... is the merch particularly cheaper at live events or something? Or do people just get lost in the moment and blow a fuck load of cash on WWE stuff just because they're there. If it's cheaper than I can get shirts and stuff online then I'll be looking to get a shirt or two, but if not I'm not gonna bother.

it's not cheaper, there's just a lot more choice. i was thinking of going rogue and buying something like a Bullet Club t-shirt or a Colt Cabana t-shirt off Pro Wrestling Tee's, but i decided against it. But yeah, i bought a kids Cena t-shirt and wrist bands for my little lad in 2012 at a house show.
i've got people asking me for shit too while i'm over there, so i'll just say 'pay up in advance and i'll get it'. But then again i'm only going for 7 days, your going for 24! where abouts are you going after mania? didn't you mention vegas?

Yeah. It's 4 nights in San Francisco, 3 in San Jose, 8 in Vegas then 7 in LA. So 22 nights in the US... plus a night in London the day before, and one of the flights is overnight as well, so I'm away for 24 in total.

I know that in the US the clocks change this coming Sunday (8th) but in the UK they actually change on the night of WM (29th) so I don't have a clue when the hell it actually starts over here. I hate timezones/daylight savings and all that crap.

I do wonder what time the actual show starts off though... they say it starts at 4:30pm, but I'm guessing that's just the preshow match and announcers entrances and stuff. So I'm assuming it'll start properly at 5... (which just seems way too early to be starting a WM for me! )

yeah it'll be weird being on at 5. all events i've ever been to have started at like 7 or 8pm (apart from the PCW show in the town centre last year).
i reckon they'll do an hour pre show. thanks for letting us know about the gate opening time. i actually thought the gates opened at 4.30!

What times sunset this time of year in San Fran? 7ish I'd imagine.
The taker wyatt match is going to have to go pretty deep into the card, otherwise the entrances will suck. Even then there's not guarantee it'll be pitch black
