Reading the circumstances, it appears that Shaw Lane have followed the rules to the letter and the expulsion is extremely harsh. It appears that the FA are at fault for not being thorough enough with player registration - do they not even ask for ID when processing a player registration?! You have to feel for them, I hope their appeal is successful.

That was how I interpreted it, the FA should have just apologised for the system error (sometimes these things happen) and ensured that the player served his suspension in the next match, or even the next round of the Trophy!

This seems like a pretty fair assessment. During the first half the cloud was so thick that I couldn't see the far corner of the pitch. I am pretty sure that if the teams had agreed to play extra time and not have a replay that the ref would have had to abandon the match, it certainly wouldn't have started in the conditions in which it finished.

Fourth official was particularly poor. On the first occasion that the ball needed replacing he wasn't paying attention, looked like he was playing with his phone, and only reacted when the crowd started shouting at him. Truro had to substitute an injured player after about a quarter of an hour, fourth official couldn't get his board to work and showed the numbers well after the swap had taken place.

Lincoln are going to have a hell of a fixture pile-up. Still in the FA Cup, haven't played their FA Trophy first round tie and have Braintree away in January that will be postponed. Good luck.

Looking at it, even if we suggest it, we can't play our 1st round on 2nd round day and 2nd round on 2nd round replay day because we have Dover on the Friday night.

I have a question, why do Dover and Dartford hate each other so much? They mentioned it on Stones live just now and it makes no sense, you're on opposite side of the county, we're closer to both of you, and with the history of our old club's demise I'd have expected Dartford to hate us a lot more.

Late reply but there was some NAWTINESS about 10 years ago, something to do with a smoke bomb (apparently cs gas or something but I doubt it) they let off in a Dover pub. Not really sure of the ins and outs of it but it's a bit meaningless nowadays
