Sometimes I find I'm less tired when I initially wake up if I've had 4 hours sleep than when I am if I've had 8 hours. Tiredness will then hit me later in the day if I haven't had a lot.

Waiting for uni results, some time after 3pm and I can't focus on anything else

When my final uni results came out they fucked up and didn't email some people (including me) the results. Luckily the fuck up was extended as they emailed people with everyone's results rather than just theirs so I could get them off a mate but it took hours to get it officially confirmed by the uni.

Jesus, that must have been painful. Manchester Uni normally manage to mess up giving the results out somehow but these seem to have been given out reasonably well...although we've still not had the supposed email, I just had a look early and they were there.

Always amazes me how long it seems to take to get marks, dunno if it's just my imagination but swear our uni and in particular our school always seem to be the last ones to get them. Assume it may be different for final year though.

thanks, literally just got them. Averaged 79.5% over the year so can't complain Only 2nd year and got 2 more years left, wish these ones counted for more haha.We have some wierd system where 1st year is 10%, 2nd year 35% and final year 55% but then I'm doing a placement year which is worth 15% so the whole degree is out of 115%

cheers, final year has such a huge weighting so fingers crossed will keep it up...hope the jump up isnt as much as 1st-2nd year though or I'll be locked in my room all the time as opposed to just 90% of the time!

It's really a dirty policy and one I'm pretty confident they could be sued for.
Essentially if you're not old enough then they have let an underage player gamble and by law would need to refund the stake/void any bets made by the player. If they're old enough then you're entitled to the money anyway. I suppose if you've had a win then they'll try to refund the original stake rather than the winnings though. Lots of them try to pull the ID shit when you want to make a withdrawal but none of them give a fuck when you make a deposit. Strange that.
