Thanks for the well wishes chaps. If I'm not on after Tuesday I'll probably be found in several different locations near a railway track after contemplating having to go back to a4e

Seeing the Courteeners twice in 3 nights in 2 weeks! CAN'T WAIT!

Now I know how all Northerners felt when I was off to 100 club last year. Jealous.

Tempted to see them twice in 3 nights by flying to Dublin when they support Libertines then straight to T in the Park the next day. Roll on Heaton Park.

I've just been reminded of something, by the cracking 'Username Images' thread.

Back in my college days, in 2004 or so, I met a guy through a lot of mutual friends, who was also called Ian H. We generally met at parties and played a bit of football and golf together. Anyway, one day we created the Ian H Club, consisiting of him, me, Ian Hislop, Ian Holloway, Ian Henderson the footballer, 'H' from Steps, and a couple of actors. Due to a shortage of numbers we were somewhat forced to let Ian Huntley join (though thankfully he wasn't allowed to attend club meetings). A while later we decided, ununanomously (2 voted yes, 7 abstained), that since ten is a much nicer number for a club than nine, we would posthumously offer membership to snooker player and cancer sufferer Paul Hunter RIP.

Four weeks ago our runner ducks were stolen. We put the eggs they left in an incubator.

About an hour ago, a tiny beak sawed a hole around one of the eggshells and within seconds a duckling burst through.

Egg + heat --> beak + brain + peeping noises. Best chemical reaction ever.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Watching Chucklevision with my little one. Does that stuff ever stop being funny?

My little un has just discovered the Powerpuff Girls on Netflix. I explained the Beatles and Monty Python references, but let the prison rape gag slide...

Few days old but the fact that Foo Fighters played at Old Trafford, yet they could be heard in Stockport, 10 miles away! Didn't even know sound could travel that far.

If it's loud enough it can go as far as you want. The shockwave from the largest nuclear bomb ever detonated went around the world three times.

I remember seeing something about when the allies in France made some huge bombs to blow up the German trenches during World War One, that you could hear the bombs in the Midlands. Crazy.

Finding a free machine behind a fit bird in the gym. Managed to spend twice as long as planned on the cross-trainer tonight.
