No. Just no. A retail hell hole of monumental proportions, how anyone could like it is truly beyond me. I dislike the smell, the sterile look and, most of all, the way they design their stores so you can't simply go in to buy a specific item without being forced to walk through every single department before you're allowed to exit, tempting your wife with shite that you neither went in for or need. But does it stop her constantly asking "Oh, that's nice, shall we get it for the kitchen/bathroom/living room/garden?" No, it fucking doesn't.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
On the other side, I detest it when I hear other people sneezing numerous times. Especially when it;s loud.
My mum sneezes very loudly . I just sit and shake my head at her when she does it. I love sneezing, the most I can knock out on the bounce is 4. I've never managed 5, much to my chagrin.

Banging the fridge up to full bore cold so the beer and pop is near freezing.

Why do you want to drink near freezing beer? The only time I can see that that is acceptable is if you're at a bbq in +30 degrees and you're drinking some generic lager that you'd rather not taste. Even then, the whole can should take no more than a minute to consume and the come-down after the brain-freeze just makes you crave another chicken drumstick all the more.

As an aside, one of my housemates freezes grapes to use as ice cubes for her white wine. I'm definitely going to do something similar when I next get my hands on some good cider.

I stick cider in the freezer to speed up the cooling process.

The frozen grape trick is fantastic for keeping wine cool and you get to eat the grapes afterwards.

It's powerful stuff. We don't really get tv like that any more.

Our workplace being shut on Sunday because of a motorbike event nearby. Apparently the noise will be at an unsuitable level at which to work safely. Gotta say I'm in full agreement...

Absolutely brilliant television drama, not sure that it's ever been equalled, my favourite episode was 'Georges last ride'

If you haven't seen this before it's definitely worth a look. It looks like a lot of fun.
