Not sure why McCann is moaning about the advantage - they had the ball comfortably and then messed it up to lose it. Ref can’t win, would be moaning just as much if he didn’t play an advantage.

Yes, I think we'll do well to stay up. Mr Weaver Sn has made it clear over the past few years that the 2024/25 season will be the last one he will fund for the club. I have great respect for the Weaver family; they have brought league football to Harrogate for the first time, transformed the ground and grown the club.
Judging by tonight's game so far, you will stay up with ease. Impressed with Ellis Taylor

Just clocked Tom Anderson at the heart of Donny’s defence. Fuck me he was absolutely pants at our place, was sure he was destined for regional football at that point

McCann can’t comprehend he doesn’t always get the decisions like the team he supports.

As someone who took the SkyBet 5/1 offer on 15+ Harrogate fouls - I feel very Grant McCann-ish

Not sure he’s got much to complain about to be honest, think Harrogate have been pretty good

Honestly I thought the same, I had Donny down to win the league but if he walks into that defense every week I'd have to rethink. Big useless galoot of a defender

I don’t know why Billy Sharp doesn’t just score from 25 yards out like all the other illustrious yet aging League 2 strikers that used to play for Sheff Utd

Harrogate always seems to pull off just enough of these surprise results each year to stay up. They're new the Morecambe

harrogate and Bromley will be here for years to come no doubt

being consistently overlooked probably helps them
I suppose for both it depends when Weaver(s) & Woodmann leave , it's almost like Accrington with Coleman & Gray at Sutton isn't it - amazing longevity with how the games gone managers don't usually last 5 minutes but you fear for them once the stability goes

I hope Harrogate are for sure. Lovely friendly town and people, and just up the road from us
Don’t get the hate for them, they could always take the easy option and follow Leeds or a Premier League club

Surprisingly comfortable evening for Harrogate. Donny looked very poor.

Harrogate defended their box very well there, good nights work for them. They have a good keeper too if he’s needed. For Doncaster it just seemed one of them nights, will happen to everyone.

Is this the night the league title slipped away from Doncaster?

During the election campaign Kier Starmer stated a key part of his manifesto was to change the law that Barrow aren't allowed anything away at Grimsby. We shall see if that promise has been fulfilled on Saturday.
The bastard I wish I’d voted Tory now.

Over 50 years of watching football and I still know nothing. I thought we were in for a kicking tonight but I couldn't have been more wrong. The players did everything asked of them and more. It just shows what desire and hard work can do for a team. 4 4 2 seemed to work. Consistency will be key moving forward.

Thanks go to Donny for a good match, they were always a danger and deserve to do well this season.

That was bloody awful, McCann picked the wrong team, should have played Olowu and Emmanuel from the start. Fair play to Harrogate, my only complaint about the opener is the ref didn’t book the Harrogate player who went through Molly, no complaints on the goal, we had the advantage and fucked it up. We were too slow tonight and Harrogate were set up really well defensively. Still can’t beat the buggers, never mind we move on

Donny had a lot of the ball second half but didn't have the guile to break down a really well organised Harrogate.

It's a good result for us in the fact that even at this early stage, you don't want the top to be pulling too far away. 8 points seems a hell of a lot to make up. If we keep within 5/6 points of top spot, we wouldn't be far off at the end of the season.
