That's a complete fallacy tbf, Aldershot have played some really smexi stuff, as have Tranmere. Our problem was that we had completely the wrong players - the idea of Josh Coulson or Jake Caprice trying to pass accurately beyond three yards amuses me. Also I think it was a bit exaggerated that we tried to play passing football, everything about it was wrong. Our recruitment was poor for the style we wanted to play, quite simply.

You know what, I've just re-read what I wrote and I was talking shit with what I said, because you're right there's some good passing teams in this league and the best one are currently top.

What I should of said was Davis thought we could go gung ho against the so called weaker/smalller clubs and get away with it. The amount of times under Davis we would get caught on the counter attack committing men forward at will without thinking about the consequences drove me up the wall.

The most notable example was that second half away at Bromley when their quick front three tore us to shreds on the break with us throwing men forward at will.

A televised match taking place at 12:30pm with 17 Hampton fans in the away end following their previous two drubbings, the Beavers open up the scoring within the first few minutes through an ex-Whitehawk recruit. Two further goals from Delano Sam-Yorke before the break make the second half a grim affair with a toxic atmosphere as Hampton repeatedly pass it around their back four. There are many other benefits which I'm sure Master D (who's been brotherhood president for more than 10 years) can outline. 10 years service qualifies for lifelong membership. If you get promoted, you hand back your membership card.

Sounds harsh, and I'm sure it'd not go down too well, but he's obviously a manager who prefers tippy tappy football with short, technical players. That won't wash down here. You'll get set pieced to death. It looks like he's tried to go down the idealistic U23 route at Chesterfield since he's been there.

Lovely.

Yep, they're all essential. You're fully entitled to win the first ten in a row to cement that top place from the start, but you end up with entertaining draws against teams that "will be up there", convincingly thrashing a few bogstandard sides, before quickly collapsing by putting together a classic Conference-strugglers run of form.

All BELTs that come down here need to suffer to understand what it's like for us. Three seasons is optimal. They're suitably humbled, and it's still a draw to play them. Four seasons or more and you start feeling sorry for them. They've learnt their lesson.

One season is just not right at all. We were all hopeful when the Gas lost at Altrincham mid-August but they kicked on, and I don't think Cheltenham were even troubled by us knaves, even though they're not a classic BELT.

We're running out of clubs this can happen to for the first time. Crewe, Port Vale, Northampton and Notts County would be good opposition if they wanted to get all tinpot up in here. We need to make the most of it when it's finally their turn.

Surely we have to expel (and delete all mention of) FC Halifax from the Brotherhood. They've only been going 10 years or so and haver never appeared in the Football League and surely that is a strict prerequisite of membership. (insertthatfuckingannoyingbanana)

As Master D is a member of the Chief Executive Board of The Brotherhood he must take the above fact into account when drawing up the Compulsory Expulsion Order which should be delivered to BJFT2 in person next time he visits a Brotherhood-member’s ground.
