Properly jammy equaliser from Bromley. Massive deflection and done uncertainty about it crossing the line.

We've been under the cosh a bit, mind.

It definitely crossed the line, I was unsure initially but one TV camera angle confirmed that the ball crossed the line.

Good advert for National League football so far. Entertaining match.

Fair enough. Really annoying goal to concede though. For the most part we've defended well, I think.

Agreed. Alty have defended resolutely against an expansive Bromley team. It's quite noticeable the increased tempo of play one level up.

Won't be at Boreham Wood today. It's a rare miss, but I was at Wales v Holland last night, didn't get home til 2.00 am and we haven't really got going away from home this season despite winning (luckily) 3 away games. The other 2 games I've missed this season (Welling and FGR) were both defeats, so 3rd time lucky please. I hate following matches at home.

Poor Deasy, twice in 4 days he's had a shot unluckily loop over his head like that.

And another! Shocking defending but well pounced on by Reeves. What a 3 points this would be.

Alty have been pretty clinical in front of goal. 2 shocking goals to concede from a Bromley perspective.

Starting to dislike Bromley. Score 7 past us at Plainmoor and then lose to the teams in 20th and 19th place at home within a week.

We need to start getting some wins soon. Barrow away will be tough but our away record isn't too shabby considering how bad we've been in general. 4 unbeaten but only one win in that, and draws aren't going to get us out the relegation zone.

Bromley are a strangely fascinating club - came to us after 6 wins on the bounce, we stuff them 4-0 and then they go on another little run. Just as likely to batter you as to be battered. Their defence is as bad as their attack is good.

Bromley dive a lot.

Emmanuel misses, cue commentator "You'd put your house on him scoring that". I wouldn't, he's not actually that good.

When did Forest fucking Green ever play at Hull?

Hull fans are pussies. One sued Billy Aire and said he'd booted the ball into his face on purpose. Quite probably did, Billy didn't like losing, which is always an unfortunate trait in a Shayman. :hail:

At least try to get the name of one of the Shaymen's legends right. Billy Ayre not Aire

We haven't. But Brighton have.

Seeing how our fan base has grown a lot in the last couple of decades, a number of our fans originally supported/support other teams as well. Even some of our stalwart fans I know are Swindon converts.

Billy Ayre sounds worse then Eddie Oshodi then. Hypocrite.

says on radio cumbria that Barrows manager Edmondson gets a formal letter tonight in some sort've half-month report.

never heard of this weird mad-cap way of running club where you give manager a sealed letter saying either stay or sacked.

Bit of a surprise for us in that Paul Farman starts. Hearn in for midweek scorer Wootton and Hawkridge remains on the bench with Tempest continuing in a 4-4-2.

Tranmere's XI looks rather, worryingly, strong.

It's terrifyingly lopsided though, probably a 442 on paper but will play more like a 424 as it did in the Dover second half. It's just a case of throw your 4 best strikers on and hope 1 scores.

Good game, Alty played well and deserved the win. Deasy looks a top keeper.

Delighted with that win and to be honest most unexpected given our crippling injury list. Even the subs who came on werent actually fit but we only have 11 fit players. And to concede only 1 goal with 4 of our back 5 injured and two kids playing centre half was an amazing achievement. Tough month though to come.

I hope we make a new club rule to nevet sign a player called Brown ever again. They're all shit.

Struggling badly today with the wind in our faces, our keeper Arnold is having an absolute mare.

Look on the bright side mate. Braintree hadn't conceded more than 2 before today ;)

Should be out of sight, knowing us we'll play terribly in the 2nd half and let Woking back into it.
