Same old story for us, playing well, the same ref that played 7 minutes on against North Ferriby when there was only 4 added, sent 2 of our players off last season then was spotted laughing about it in the bar, has done it again, clear foul on Baggie, a second later, they score. We should have killed this off but we'll never do that with Odejayi upfront.

If only you had a striker who would get 14 goals already.....

FT FGR 3-1 Dover. Conditions made the game a farce, but we'll take it. On to the big one.

Good win, bit of a surprise with me as I would've taken a point. Now we need to win the next two. Obviously we never beat Welling so three would be too uch to ask for.

Nice easy 4-0 win to consolidate our place at the top of the League. The game was over after 15 mins.

Beat FGR next week and I'll believe we can win the League. We look so comfortable at the moment.

Brilliant time to be a CTFC fan right now. The gulf between the top and bottom teams in this league is staggering.

Four games against relegation threatened sides coming up - Torquay, Boreham Wood, Welling and Woking. Such a huge opportunity to cash in on now.

Tranmere's performance in the second half was pathetic, so lifeless, they're a bunch of individuals, not a team. Brabin has to go surely.

Oh, and lol at everyone spaffing themselves over Macc.

In the pub in Woking.
Dennis is a class above and we deserved to score 5. Fair play to the Woking fans for staying till the end, theyve been hit badly by injury and their team wasnt great. Hopefully can push on now.

Why shouldn't we spaff each other silly? Everyone loves it when a penniless club(Macc) defy the odds :woot: They beat a mid-table Woking side quite convincingly. It's not like they simply won against some part time rubbish like Welling or Boreham Wood.

He's under massive pressure. He's wasted a budget on 'names' like McNulty (whose been shite) and Tomlinson (whose been shite), when we need wingers and some options at centre midfield. We've got 6 centre backs and 8 forwards, but 3 centre mids and 2 wingers (one is on loan). It was a team and now it's exactly what you said - a collection of individuals. Relatively expensive individuals at that.

Please Luton, take McNulty back?

Well yes.

Just like the rest of us down here!

There are different levels of tinpottedness though. Getting 1500+ home fans in weather like this without any offers on puts us at a lesser tinpot level then we used to be.

BT2F is that you?

Let's have it right Vanni, they've defeated cannon-fodder. Maybe Scott Rendell's funeral has had too much of an emotional impact for Woking to avoid relegation. We shall have to see.

Good result today, but to smash Wrexham in a few weeks would be spaff material.

Smashed by Macclesfield for the second time this season and the scoreline didn't flatter us this time. John Goddard the only player who came out of that with a bit of credit. If everyone put in as much effort and wanted it as much as he does, we'd be alright. Not to mention the quality he provides when he gets on the ball. Team selection wrong from the start.

Trying not to be fooled too much by Macclesfield, despite comfortably beating us twice. Took their goals well today and made the most of playing against a side completely void of confidence. But they conceded, twice, to us. A mid-table side, top 10 at a push.

Conceding when 4-0 and 5-1 up away from home when in search of more goals, pretty happy to live with that.

Sorry Torquay fans, but your side was worse than most Conf North teams we faced last season.
4-0 win and some good individual performances. Struck a post, goal disallowed, a few fine saves from their keeper, but it really could have been 7.
Otis Khan looks a great acquisition on a youth loan, and Andy Haworth showed that he is among the most talented players in this division. If only he'd actually make the effort more than once every three or four games.
Not sure what the formal letter thing for the manager is all about - probably a written warning that his performance has been unacceptable of late? Regardless of this game, he'll be out in a fortnight's time.

Good result, that, and a perfect response this week to last Sunday. 3 games in 6 days, too.

Long trek to Torquay next and a big chance in the coming weeks to put some points on the board ahead of Grimsby.
