hahaha Arsenal twitter going into meltdown...Vardy just changed his twitter header to Leicester lifting PL trophy. Pure banter if Vardy SNUBS Arsenal. Let the MEME begin!

Hector Herrera to Liverpool. Don't know a lot about him, just that his work rate is high/high on Ultimate Team.

I think Vardy would rather play for a northern team, we're more dossery up here and he clearly enjoys the culture.

If he pick up extra wages at Leicester to snub Arsenal and have no worries about his place in the side then he'll stay.

I don't follow him on Twitter but even I know he's had that as his header for at least a couple of days, but it's probably been weeks.

Vardy snubbing Arsenal would be embarrassing but Liverpool offered him higher wages but couldn't sign him because you're a Europa League team. Stay in your line.

Liverpool's transfer rumours are stupid, they're linked with 3 new players a day. I'm sure half of it is fan instigated.

Vardy would sign for Liverpool ahead of Arsenal imo. It'd suit him to the ground.

Source any good? I'd bloody love Matic!

I'd love him too.

He was so, so good in the title winning season. Awful last year, like most of the team though.

Could just be lazy journalism but we've been linked to him for a while now.

Apart from the fact we didn't offer him anything nor did we want him. :fl:

Di Marzio is probably the best source there is at the moment, if he says it's so I'm inclined to believe it.

That almost means absolutely nothing. He'd be on more money at Liverpool because they're clueless, but that's about it. It doesn't matter what system you would prefer to play in, when you've got the players we have playing behind him it would all take care of itself. That and we're in the Champions League and Liverpool, obviously, are not.

It's mainly to do with where he wants to live and the clubs he sees as prestigious at this stage in his career. From what I know living next to Fleetwood, Vardy would prefer United or Liverpool.

Fact? it's been widely reported that Liverpool wanted to sign Vardy and would have offered him bigger wages, and even if it wasn't, Liverpool are definitely the type of club to be interested in a player like Vardy and you're definitely stupid enough to offer him vasts amount of money.

Stay in your line.

I think Vardy would be ideal for Liverpool. Probably the best signing they would make if it could happen.

There's only one reason why he'd pick United or Liverpool over Arsenal and that's bigger wages. He's 29, I highly doubt location will cross his mind this late into his career and I doubt he'd settle for anything less than Champions League football next season given that's exactly what he'll get if he simply remains at Leicester.

Then why spend 20 million on Vardy? Just get Yaya Sanogo back. Clueless..

CL football means fuck all in this instance. Vardy isn't a huge fan of the South, Northern jewels are the clubs he sees as the ultimate goal, he probably can't believe he's in with a chance.

He may well sign for Arsenal, but if he had the chance at the two big North West clubs he'd jump at it. There's a reason United were approached after Arsenal met the release clause.

We haven't been linked with Vardy for a few days now; I can't see it happening anyway as Leicester and Arsenal offer him CL football whilst we cannot; I thought he was nailed on for Arsenal though...

Silly season is in full swing though now with Klopp apparently wanting to bring back Sahin to Liverpool; yeah that didn't go well with him here the last time and he was outspoken about his time at Anfield I believe as well. Haven't seen him much in a few years anyway so dunno how he is playing these days tbh.

Vardy would prefer Liverpool from what I've heard.

Sahin is mint, Rodgers used him as well as Ferguson used Kagawa.

He was mint a few years back when he got his move to Real Madrid; so he's been hitting form again back at Dortmund? I can't see it happening anyway.

Yeah Sahin didn't like Rodgers and made it public after he left. But he talked well about Liverpool as a club.

Not really, but Klopp knows him best. I could see him being a rotation player, an effective one at that

Ah gotcha it was issues with Rodgers; I've heard a few come out and say things about him, interesting.

Yeah we could certainly do with added depth there anyway even if he wouldn't be first choice.

In other news, Chelsea have had a €35m bid for that Jap that plays for Roma turned down, and Juventus are in advanced stages in signing Pjanic. Would be pretty shitty of Pjanic to go there.
