Who is your first choice LB? If it's Moreno I'd rather use Flanagan there than him.

Moreno is more than good enough for the PL, but yeah there is no real back up just now unless you throw Milner or Klavan in there if need be. Need a new guy in to push/surpass Moreno though, its a priority.

He started off last season much better defensively, but he fell off completely by the end of the campaign particularly in the EL final. He did create more chances than any other LB in the PL last season so attacking wise he is fine. If he can cut down on those brainfarts he suffers from then there is a hell of a player in there, its whether he'll be able to take it on board as apparently he isn't the sharpest tool in the box anyway.

Having said that I don't think he'll be given much leeway from the fans (just like the enforced inclusion of Mignolet) if he's still the #1 LB and he makes an error at Anfield, I think it could then become vitriolic. There is plenty of time to get another LB in so we'll see what transpires anyway.

Ignoring that, Chelsea are linked with Romania's number 10, 23 year old Nicolae Stanciu, seen him in the Euros and he was pretty solid but not everyone plays the same for club and country, so I saw more of him on youtube and now I really wish this happens, but this is a new rumor that just came up today and most likely won't happen since nobody said anything about it ever since I seen the rumor in the morning.

Marlos Moreno is a brilliant player and has just won the Copa Libertadores. 19 years of age, but going straight into the City first team is a step too much for him. He'll show his worth in Spain, and when he comes back, if he can adjust to life in England and the English game, I have no doubts he'll be a star in the Premier League.

I didn't see much of Robinho in his prime! So I can't compare. What I will say is he ripped the competition apart in South America. He's a brilliant player. Its a matter of "can he adjust to England". Something the other Colombian players other than Ospina have failed to do.
