So if they write that Juve is going to sign Schweinsteiger, should I believe them?

I could see that happening - Schweinsteiger is clearly not in Mourinho's plans and Juventus have just let a midfielder go in Pogba, someone like Schweinsteiger would probably be a good signing for Juve if they could keep him fit. Low cost, massively experienced, unwanted at his current club. I haven't read the article though so I don't know how definitively the Telegraph is being with the story - was it in one of those "rumour mill" type pages or was it an actual article?

Well, the funny thing is that according to the italian press the Telegraph has written that the deal is almost done, but on their official site all I've found is this.

United attempt to speed up Schweinsteiger departure

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are trying to accelerate Bastian Schweinsteiger's departure from the club.

The 32-year-old has been frozen out of Jose Mourinho’s first team squad and will not be part of his plans for next season.

The former Germany captain will hold talks with the Red Devils this week over his exit strategy, although it is believed a severance package to pay off the remainder of his contract is worth £17m.

Juve is not even named lol.

If only we could accelerate Schweinsteiger himself. Then we could play him.

The Telegraph is one thing but the Daily Star is another thing completely - never believe what they print!

Liverpool are considering allowing Mamadou Sakho to go out on loan as they look to get the defender back on track.

Got to be bollocks? I thought Liverpool fans rated Sakho as their best CB (not saying much I know, hehe). Letting a senior player leave on loan to rediscover his mojo seems odd.

Its bollocks, though Sakho does need to prove himself once again with these issues he's had the last few months.

I hope we keep Sakho. Would love to see Sakho + Lovren partnership again.

Exit strategy :D Let him play for Juve in Serie A, better than twiddle his thumbs. But I don't have heard anything that Juve is interested (would be nice to see him and Khedira play together). I fear that he ends up playing in the Major League Sucker plastic league.

edit:
Now, German online footy mag, kicker.de, has published the rumour, too:

http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2016-17/transfermarkt.html

the text says, that Juves Chief executive Giuseppa Marotta has contacted ManU because due to Claudio Marchisios injury and the problems to get Blaise Matuidi (PSG) or Juan Cuadrado (Chelsea) they are interesting to hire Schweinsteiger (on loan?)

And in the same link it is said that Valencia said NO to Arsenal in the Skodran Mustafi case. They don't sell him.

It's quite clear that Klopp rules with an iron fist.
If you misbehave it doesn't matter if you're a fan fav or so, you are gone (at least for a while), and I agree with Klopp.

You surely know German players better than me, so what do you think about Schweinsteiger? Can he return at the top of his game and play at high levels?? Or his physical condition is now too compromised?

Liverpool's Sakho was apparently offered to Sunderland but Moyes declined (or SNUBBED, if you prefer) the French centre back.

He was great when at his peak but now he's clearly past it.

He can surely play another 1 or 2 years even in a top league like Serie A but he'll never be a top man again he was until WC 2014. After that he was more injured than fit and clearly had weight problems.

Well, there are lots of similaries with Pirlo when he came to Juve in 2011. Same age, same physical problems, almost the same role; I hope that if he arrives he will also have the same performance as Andrea.

Not a good enough passer to play the Pirlo role.

He's no Pirlo tbh, he's more the classic #6, more defense orientated midfielder, no playmaker. But if you mean that he will "overcome" his weight problems and regains full fitness so that he can play 1 or maybe 2 decent seasons and to help Juve a bit then "Yes, I want to hope that, too" . He deserves another chance for a good ending of his career (unfortunately his great career in the german team came a bit to a sad end with his hand-action that led to the penalty in the semi final against France)

Some French media reporting that we have made an offer for Lille's attacking midfielder Boufal. 15 million euros but they want 20m.

Our fanbase is suddenly full of Ligue 1 experts who are wetting themselves in excitement over this rumour.

He doesn't want to leave because no other club in Europe is stupid enough to give him the wages we agreed to. Hopefully that tweet is just sending a "come and get me" message to clubs outside Europe, I hear China is nice these days.

Can't say I've warmed to him as a United player, the whole flying back to Germany in between matches didn't sit well with me and he simply isn't good enough anymore. We've got plenty of players ahead of him for his position and Mourinho is right to deem him not needed.

James Rodriguez linked with Anfield move
Liverpool have become the latest club to be linked with a move for James Rodriguez, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Colombia international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with Arsenal and Chelsea also believed to be interested.

Mundo Deportivo claim that Liverpool have already expressed their interest in Rodriguez, but have been told that they may have to pay a fee that could reach up to £71m.

Disappointing that Schweinsteiger doesn't want to play for another European Club, this doesn't sound good. "Manchester United was the only club which could make me leave Bayern Munich"? Bollocks.
And "I will be ready, if the team needs me" Bollocks again. Mourinho doesn't want you, accept it. So either he'll sit his contract out or he plays for some MLS Club. China? Nah, he's just married again and I don't think that his wife wants to live in China...where they are eating dogs /s :D. Maybe an US Metropole like L.A or N.Y, that suits even the wife ( she is a professional tennis player, so the US would be more likely)

Signed Janmaat from Newcastle.

Scored against us last season and from what I can remember a decent player.

Surely better than Paredes or Anya!

Mind you Amrabat and Holebas have done ok so far.
