He's fucking good. Wanted him if Mahrez fucked off. Sure we've discussed im in here already.

Only reservations is that he's injured at the moment and will sod off for the AFCON in January.

We're close to agreeing a fee with Lille for Boufal. €20m.

He better be good.

We are still after him too but don't want to pay that much...

Looks like Zaha to Spurs.

Would be the final nail in the Palace coffin for me.

Surely Spurs can do better? There's a player in there but his end product is pretty poor.

Stoke linked with a €20M move for Dortmund's Christian Pulisic.

Zero chance, surely.

Pochettino probably backs himself to bring the best out of Zaha and I'd bet that he's got a better chance than most of doing it - he's excellent with young players.

We're getting Deportivo's striker Lucas Perez. Don't know much about him but seen him described as a Spanish Jamie Vardy. This doesn't scream panic buy at all.

In truth though he'll hopefully be a good alternative when Giroud's 10 game goal drought comes along and he can also play on the wing.

We were interested in him this summer. He had a really good period last season and I think you guys were linked to him around Christmas, but he's a target we passed up on and now he's Wengers solution? Not the sort of signing to get the fans back onside. I wouldn't say he's much like Vardy, not as fast, doesn't pressure defenders as much but looks technically a bit better with an excellent left foot, likes to play on the shoulder though so there's that. And perhaps the Vardy link is because we were in for him and so reporters assumed he was his replacement?
One thing though is we were linked to him for 12.5mill which is a snip really and right up Wengers street.

The thing with him though is that he scored a lot of goals in the first half of the season, then struggled after Christmas. I think that's why there was a lot of interest in him around Christmas from the likes of yourselves and supposedly Barca, Real and other big boys were monitoring him, but he went right off the boil in 2016 which is probably why nobody picked him up early in the window.

A gamble, but one that could really pay off and if he only costs what he was going to cost us Wenger could go all smugface if he does the business. And if it doesn't, it's fuck all money. So is it definitely on?

The Vardy comparison probably comes from him only really having one good full season in the top flight, and seemingly coming from nowhere at a late(r) age. Like you said it's pretty low risk for the price we'll be paying, and it will be interesting to see what he can do with better players behind him. If it doesn't work we still have Giroud and Welbeck, and I guess it delays the star striker search another season which is understandable given the lack of options at the moment.

It's Ornstein from the BBC that is reporting that we're interested so I'd say it's pretty concrete that we're in for him since he is normally spot on with Arsenal news. It's not over the line yet though.

It appears we're going to break our transfer record to sign Boufal this summer then. One of many Premier League clubs to do so this summer.

Please don't be a Gaston Ramirez/Dani Osvaldo.

Be interesting to see where you play him because he does fuck all defending. Second striker probably.

Probably take over Tadic's role as the number 10 in Puel's system then.

Rumours that we want N'Zonzi from Sevilla and are willing to pay £25mill.
I fucking hope not. He's a decent enough player and I wouldn't mind him but not for over 3 times what he went to Sevilla for last season when we were trying to get him then. I'd rather try our hand at Carvalho for that kind of cash.

He'll sign, behave brilliantly for six months or so and then he'll throw a firework up a horse's anus or something and we'll be waking up to "No more Mr. NICE guy" headlines as his contract is terminated.

We're back in for Joe Hart apparently.
Ship Soapy McSoapglove aka Mignolet and replace him with Hart is not bad.

It was too easy for us I suppose.

We'll go for Stanciu now. Les bottles it when another club gets involved. See Alderweireld, Rojo, Buttner etc.

I hope so, however now we have a bit of fame we have been linked with loads of players, generally only by their agents and it's turned out to be bullshit to drive up interest. It'd be fucking great though.
