Jack Wilshere is listening to loan offers from Palace, Watford, Bournemouth, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon

Probably go to one of the latter as they are in Europe...

Adrien Silva has already confirmed the move. Thats come out of nowhere really. The Slimani deal is least likely because we cant agree a fee.

The Adrien deal is not done. He is forcing his way out of Sporting but Sporting are not wanting to sell. Difficult position for him at the moment since both him and the club have released confrontational press releases and he is their captain. To be fair to Sporting, they don't want to lose the core of their team in the end of the transfer window with no time to buy replacements.

Maybe tomorrow there will be developments. I'm surprised about Slimani since Sporting have already bought two strikers (Bas Dost and Luc Castaignos), so they were really counting on selling Slimani.

Pretty confident they'll sell, they've got big debts, they need the cash.
Personally not bothered about Silva because he doesn't slot right into the side but Slimani would take Okazakis place I reckon as he's more of a goal threat and has the same work ethic. If we don't get Silva we could get Wilshface on loan!

-Luiz and Brozovic rumors are dying off.
-Alonso reportedly completed medical and now follows Chelsea on twitter.

There is nothing else to be hyped about for deadline day. Nothing. After finishing 10th, loaned out our most exciting players, and signed one first team player and two squad rotational players. No disrespect to Alonso, but he isn't world class yet, why should we take risks. Supposedly a Premier League giant, yet they don't attract world class defenders. To be fair, not much are in the market, but at least make an effort and splash the cash.

Its been like this for a couple of years now, if it weren't for Conte, I'd panic.

Wilshere to choose between Palace and Bournemouth this morning, surely he'd play every week at a higher level?

Wilshere needs to play and we can't afford to use games as fitness exercises for him. Similar to when Ramsey went out on loan to Forest and Cardiff a little while after his recovery from the leg break. Arsenal Twitter going a bit mad (as usual) about him choosing not to go abroad, but I understand why he'd prefer to stay home. Palace probably make the most sense for him, boozer-wise.

Playing in Croydon ruined Darcy Blake.

In his early 20s, playing for the Welsh national side. Started to hit the drink and eventually gave up on the game and ended up playing rugby union for a side in south Wales.

West Brom back in for Ighalo with a £32 million offer - they seem very keen to want him!

However its less than we rejected before and he has signed a new contract not so long ago so have to be a U-turn by either us or the player for the transfer to happen I feel.

Howe met with Wilshere in London yesterday for talks. Palace should probably be considering favourite though, keeps him in London etc.

32 Million for Ighalo? Less than you rejected before? Why on earth haven't you taken the money?!

Been off this site for a while, so there is alot to catch up with. Heres everything I know with Chelsea's transfer rumors.

Ins-
Marcus Alonso 97% complete
Brozovic 64% complete
Ricardo Rodriguez 17% complete
De Vrij 14% complete
James Rodriguez 5% complete

Change this "rumour" from 17% complete to now 0% complete. Won't happen. Klaus Allofs said yesterday they won't transfer more key players. They denied Luis Gustavo to Inter and even denied the (ridiculous high) 75m Euro Offer from PSG for Julian Draxler.

I read that Shkodran Mustafi is now at Arsenal? Kicker.de reports 41m Euro for the German Defender.

Have you ever tried getting to Croydon? It's a nightmare. Bournemouth is closer to London.

If we sign Wilshere it will no doubt be the biggest coup in our history, and be a huge player for us. Hoping that Wenger's long term hate of Pardew and love of Eddie swings it in our favour, but can see why Palace are the favourites.

But little things like medicals will likely get in the way before then. Be amazed if he passes one of those.

I'm not a football expert but I'm sure Bournemouth have had a better player than Jack fucking Wilshere before. Don't overstate it, Wilshere is a tosser and potentially the most overhyped player in PL history. He'll do fuck all wherever he goes. Arsenal disguises his weaknesses.

Another good signing for 'Boro in Adama Traore, they have some good attacking options there.

Wilshere would be an idiot to go to Palace. If he makes that call, he won't be playing for Arsenal again. Players get worse under Pardew.

Wilshere at evens to go to Roma, the bookies certainly think both us and Palace will be knocked back.

Well we've never signed a current England international, so it probably would. The closest we've got was Darren Anderton in his late 30's.

EDIT: And George Best when he was just a walking pub at the twilight of his career.

Wilshere seems to have decided on Roma after all that.

Nothing I haven't said before, Wilshere is a good player but no more than that. His injuries are frequently used as an excuse for a lack of world class progression I don't believe he would have made anyway.
