Snodgrass is a Feghouli replacement.

Feghouli's barely played though, on the basis so far he's maybe the 5 choice attacking/wide midfielder. Probably more of an opportunistic signing on the relative cheap thinking his contract is up in the air, rather than a strategic improvement.

A player's worth what a team is prepared to pay. Sunderland are in dire need of money, but also are in dire need of staying up to hang on to the Sky TV money. Defoe is pretty much their only hope of staying up, but at the right price could strengthen. Will be interesting to see how much Sunderland hang out for. Unfortunately contracts mean nothing nowadays. Clubs sell players off whenever they want if they don't perform. Players should be allowed to do the same if the club lies to them about the "project."
