Rumours that Bradley Wood is on his way out because, having been banned for drink driving (the morning after a night out), he's been caught driving while banned.

Declared 'unavailable' for Saturday', he wasn't at the bus parade last night either, which was a big shame and a bit surprising so something further has obviously happened. Not 100% sure he'd have made the step up long-term, but he was worth another year for me.

There is a very slight He may end up back at ourselves. We do have a track record of sticking behind controversial figures. ( e.g Adam Smith, Simon Leneghan)

I would be overjoyed. The only thing is of course is - will he be willing to drop to Conference North and a struggling side to boot?

Doubt he'd drop to Conference North, he's just been a mainstay of a title-winning side in the National. Someone will take a calculated punt on him, FGR have a load of TopLadz after all if they don't win promotion.

Agreed, he's improved significantly this season. While Gumbs and Drysdale both looked good in the Maidstone game, unsure either has Ihky's pace to compensate for McNulty's lack of that.

It's a strange one, he hasn't been playing because of the form of Stockton and apparently had a bit of a run in with Mellon. Wouldn't want to lose him.

I would be gutted if he left. I think Mellon goes with Stockton because he is more mobile, but I still prefer Cook and it is his goals that have got us into this position.

We could do with both of them if we go up.

Cook probably deserves a shot at league football for his work over the last few seasons, and he's one of those players that could probably do the same job at any level - there will be less effective forwards on the books of Championship teams. However, he's always kicking up a fuss, and doesn't respond well when he's dropped. Would any League 2 team want to pay him more than what he's on now? I doubt it.

Good news for us if they won't, as he still has a year on his contract.

Cook is a similar player to Ricky Lambert and Grant Holt and I think he could at least go up to League One level.

It's a difficult predicament. I doubt either will want to play second fiddle regardless of what division we're in next season. A nice change worrying about which 20 goal striker to play and which one to have on the bench though, doesn't seem that long ago since centre back Ash Taylor finished the season as top scorer with five goals!

Kingsley James to Lincoln apparently. No-where near good enough for the FL but fair play if he manages to get a move. Played well against them twice this season but I would much rather have Ollie Norburn.

Think the rumour was from one of those click bait sites so no idea if it's likely or just lazy journalism. Can't see it myself as I think DC will have a lot of options in his head for the step up. Billy Knot must have a decent chance of returning after his loan spell if we can afford him.
