Target man, can definitely finish his chances as well. We picked him up from Stourbridge but he got injured quite quickly and we've been nursing him back since.

Would be a decent signing although he's not the finished article.

We had Jason Taylor (Fylde) and Rhys Turner (Morecambe/Stockport) on trial at the weekend.

There was also a full team of triallists on the bench ready to play the second half but the match was abandoned after 30 mins...

I didn't go, but apparently the incident was in the fourth minute, but the ambulance took half an hour to arrive. Blyth was at the side of the pitch getting treatment the whole time, and the coaches didn't feel it was fair to carry on with him clearly in distress at the side of the pitch. He's not too badly hurt, but I think Evatt didn't really want to fulfil this pointless fixture anyway, so it was a good excuse.

Confirmed a season long loan, been told he scored a lot of goals for Huddersfield u23's last year. Hope his is better then the last time we had him, although that was a few years ago and he only played about 3 times

I think NLN is Rauls limit to be honest. We had him for a few months at the start of last season and he struggled.

He is absolutely awful,all 3 strikers got injured for last 6 weeks of season hence the fall from play offs. Raul couldn’t even get a game then ,played Centre half and Shaun Newton up front instead.

Bury have certainly hit the bullseye with this signing but hopefully the cash Chester receive will be the shot in the arm they need ahead of next season’s NLN campaign
