We'll probably sign him and ruin him, like we did with Durrell and Boden who didn't do too badly after leaving.

Fans on our forum are incredibly pessimistic about him. Saying he's not proven at this level, like we're in a position to sign a proven striker in this league.
there are at least 3 teams allegedly interested in him;- Wrexham, Stockport and Us - but having seen some of his goals he will do ok at National level IF he has service - he's very direct and likes running at defenders, scores with either foot and can score headers too.

How's Jason Oswell be getting on with you guys? Scored a hatful for us in the NLN but has seemingly struggled higher up the pyramid?

never really got a run at Morecambe, came to us with high expectations but has been rotated heavily.

i think with a pre-season with us and a decent supply things will pick up.

rumours that he may need some surgery though, which may explain his slow start

I don't think we've seen him fully fit to be fair. Holds it up well and has a decent touch, I think he'll do well with a run in the side.

Barnsley, Peterbrough,Bury,Bristol Rovers and Plymouth eye AFC Fylde keeper Jay Lynch on a free.

Gutted to lose Jay, unbelievable keeper and saved us a load of points this season. Good luck to him though, he deserves to be playing football league

very good player - stopped us beating you in both xmas/new year games with great late saves. Would be hard to replace.

Willoughby doesn’t strike me as someone Gannon would pick up. Not enough to his overall game.

possibly - I just went off the fact that another Stockport fan posted that you were apparently interested a while ago
People on our messageboard have been interested all season - I’ve seen nothing that suggests Gannon is.

Back to Zak Ansah. it seems he's being playing Sunday football & Hythe don't want that
https://www.kentonline.co.uk/hythe/sport/were-don-here-204604/

i think he may have a good job which is why he's playing down the leagues

He's playing for SE Dons who are a YouTube team in the Hashtag United mould. It seems like he makes more money doing that than playing at step 4, I'm sure he'd make more though if he went up a few steps. Seems like the lad wants an easy ride which I'm assuming is how he's ended up at this level after once being a decent prospect at Arsenal.

Apparently Harrogate have offered MIchael O'Connor a 3-year deal. We'll have offered him one-year.

Not sure a plastic pitch would be great for his knee.

He's done well but I'm happy for him to go. We need more legs in midfield and I don't think we can accommodate both him and Frecks in L1.

Agreed. I wouldn't necessarily have O'Connor and Frecklington taking up two CM spots in the squad either and as Freck is under contract already...

He's too good for the NL, though. A top 7 L2 player at least and would probably be fine in L1, too (just not for us alongside Frecklington).

We have the option on his contract and given that we haven't triggered it, then you suspect DC is thinking along the same lines.

one of our loanees last season Dior Angus has been released by Port Vale and Ian Evatt has already previously said he'd be keen to sign him if that happened - don't be too surprised if he signs for us.

Looking forward to seeing him fully fit next season. He’s shown flashes of what he’s capable of, but I think he’s been playing with an injury. Very good in the air though, not seen him lose an aerial duel yet and nailed a great header against Harrogate on the last day of the season. Also looks pretty decent at holding the ball up and laying it off. Needs someone with pace to play alongside and I think he could form a good partnership with someone next season.

Or he could completely flop like Stockton..

Jason's main strength without a shadow of a doubt is attacking crosses / corners in the air. He's absolutely brilliant at it! His hold up play generally needs work which full time training will no doubt help him with. He's not terribly good on the ball but absolutely superb at finishing off a chance.

Given a good supply line and a run in the team, he'll score loads i'm sure of it.

That Scott Quigley guy who you all say is shit has recently followed (and is being followed by) our manager, chairman and an agent connected to the club. Should we be worried?

Joe Quigley you mean, he has been to every club in this division. Scott Quigley is the good one.

Phew, that's a relief - all I've read is how shit Quigley is! Well this lad looks nailed on to sign for us, so hopefully he's the sort of striker to lead the line.

Not that Scott Quigley is particularly good either, immobile and couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo for us

We had him on loan the second half of the season and he was really poor in all honesty. He came with a lot off hype and we thought he was the striker that was going to score us goals to keep us up.

In the end, he scored 2. Once against Maidstone (not exactly difficult this season) and once against Wrexham where he looked like he actually wanted to impress after he'd slated our fans in the Wrexham newspaper leading up to the game. He did also basically say he wanted to go back to Wrexham next season.

We have been linked with Joe Ironside from Kidderminster. That being said, it's come from the Non League Tittle Tattle handle on Twitter

Think the same tweet said we wanted one of your players who's under contract. I'd take that account with a pinch of salt.

But honestly wouldn't be surprised if you were interested in him.
