Not a transfer rumour but apparently we’ll be appointing Danny Seattle (ex Braintree manager) as our new manager today.
What’s he like?

Word is thay we have made a very good offer to Grant Smith (Lincoln keeper/former Boreham Wood) to replace Jay Lynch.

The chairman told a few fans last night that Yeates from Eastleigh has been offered to us, as his family still live in the area.

Jordan Williams looks set for Fylde after being released by Rochdale. Would have him back at Barrow, but wages will be too high.

Ok monkey. Thanks. Is he a good player?

On his day, he's way too good for this league - hence Rochdale paid £100k just 2 years ago. Can go missing in games, but which wingers don't?

Impossible, Fylde are skint.
Yep, our left back who agreed a deal with us and the at the last minute changed his mind to join Fylde didn’t do it for the money I’m sure.

Just like his agent didn’t push him to Fylde for the big agent’s fees they pay.

Huge agent fees apparently. Welcome to the national league. You will never keep your best players whilst you're part time. It's that simple

Don't know who Duxbury's agents are (?), but Fifteen Eleven seem to have a bit of a stronghold in Fylde...

You paid over 10x the amount on agents fees compared to us. I’m sure his agent had that in mind when his client had agreed a contract with County but he was still peddling him around to the highest bidder in a last-ditch attempt to earn himself and his client (who is good footballer but an incredibly thick chap by all accounts) some extra cash and he found a bankrolled team ready to pay it.

Nothing against Fylde personally but the pretending we are working on a tight budget theme I’ve seen on this forum is more laughable than the amount of fans you took to the playoff final.

Intresting that, we're definitely after wingers. I believe yeates is due very soon too

I'd be delighted if we signed Yeates. Exactly the type of player we need. Lacked creativity in the middle of the park last season

I'm not denying we have a very good budget. But we are really not using it the way you all make out.

The owner has admitted that the manager is using nowhere near the budget available to him. He's choosing to sign players who he feels wants to play for the club rather than money.

Don't get me wrong we have signed alot of players from the national league North over the past few years and it's not difficult to pay more than the likes of kiddiminster ect. We missed out on a lot of players last season, because other clubs and I'm adding Hartlepool and Wrexham offered more money for certain players.

It's facts that half the crap going around about fylde is wrong. Someone put out that Rowe was on 3k a week. The guy is on nowhere near that. Unfortunately our club is also stupid at times. Jack muldoon wanted an extra £150 a week and we refused and he went to Harrogate. We're about to lose Jay Lynch and zaine Francis-Angol over very similar situations.

Yes it's not a small budget though I will never say that. For a club of our size it's fantastic. It's just not as massive as half of you make out.

I think most people are critical of Fylde because they are paying players way beyond their own financial means. If Haythornthwaite decided to bugger off to Blackpool (which is entirely possible now the Oystons have gone), there is no way Fylde could continue to operate the way they do.

Whether you like it or not, there just isn't enough interest in AFC Fylde for you guys to ever be able to establish yourselves without the wealth of your owner.

It's pitiful that your chairman has to basically give away free tickets and travel to get people to attend games. And the supposed 700 who made the trip to Wembley for a promotion final is just shocking and appalling.

As supporters, I don't envy those who are now fully fledged Fylde fans, because they are enjoying the good times and good on them for doing so. I pity those who will suffer when it inevitably falls apart.

Surely Jay will be heading to the football league though and probably zaine too. That's a far bigger draw than a couple of hundred more on your wage. Who's idea was it not to pay Jack £150 more because that is crazy. We missed him massively last season

Do they really need another striker? They've got Wright, Blissett and Yusseff haven't they?
saw the McCallum link on the Solihull forum yesterday - but they also seam convinced Yusseff is leaving (he never seams to stay anywhere much more than 18 months....)

We had him on loan last season, albeit in L2, and he looked your typical high work rate, not particularly technical/skillful winger. Looked a typical Paul Cox player.

He did get stuck in, though, and never shirked challenges. We had a cracker of a game at home to Notts County in his first game and he performed really well but as the games went on, not that he played too many, he didn't look anywhere near good enough as an FL winger.

We had some properly skilful wingers at this level under Coxy.
