Really surprised if Stockton does sign for you guys, given he didn't impress during the loan spell and rarely made the bench at the end.

Is Tollitt signing too?

I think most people are critical of Fylde because they are paying players way beyond their own financial means. If Haythornthwaite decided to bugger off to Blackpool (which is entirely possible now the Oystons have gone), there is no way Fylde could continue to operate the way they do.

Whether you like it or not, there just isn't enough interest in AFC Fylde for you guys to ever be able to establish yourselves without the wealth of your owner.

It's pitiful that your chairman has to basically give away free tickets and travel to get people to attend games. And the supposed 700 who made the trip to Wembley for a promotion final is just shocking and appalling.

As supporters, I don't envy those who are now fully fledged Fylde fans, because they are enjoying the good times and good on them for doing so. I pity those who will suffer when it inevitably falls apart.

I dunno where you got the 700 from. Was around 2000. Yes still not massive and then we had what nearer 5000 for the trophy. Unfortunately people jumped on the trophy bandwagon and then couldn't afford the play off when we made it a few weeks later.

We have no worries about the owner going to Blackpool. We have to face it that we're never be liked by most teams.

It's more frustrating that we get compared to the Salford and FGR and we are nowhere near that level financially.

I wouldn't be surprised though if we did increase the budget this summer to nearer what you all expect. Just have to wait and see eh.

Believe it or not I was watching the club when we was getting 300. The move to the new ground was huge as it was just far more assessable to everyone. Recently home attandaces have been what 1500 and that's probably where we are at as a fan base without big away crowds or day trippers. I hope we can gain a few more regulars from the 5k we had at the trophy

It's funny. There's been people in the know at Orient, moors and Fylde all claiming he's going to them. For Fylde I know we have made an offer. As the chairman himself after the play off final said he really rated him and was aware his contract was up and wanted to try. But chances were he wouldn't probably leave the south.

Intrested to know where he actually ends up

Stockton is gash. Scored one scrambled goal in the last minute at Gateshead but I can’t remember if he did anything else. Was lazy and half arsed. Plays like he’s 35 years old.

Be amazed if Tollitt doesn’t sign here.

i hope it's at least another 2-3 weeks before you sign anyone though.... reading the Wrexham forum transfer speculation thread is too entertaining at present

I'm pleased to read that you are a real Kirkham and Wesham fan and as I said in my previous message, I don't envy you guys for enjoying the highs your club are enjoying at the moment.

The sad part is when it goes tits up and you don't have the financial means to make ends meet. Then the real K&W fans are the one's who suffer. Not the glory hunters who'll just sod off when it all goes down the pan.

I must have misread if 700 was incorrect. 2,000 is not exactly a number to sing from the rooftops either. I get your point regarding the trophy, but come on, this was a promotion final and only 2,000 subsidised people bothered to show up.

I get that you're proud of your club and it's current standing. But to have no concerns about the way you are currently living well outside of your means is just plain naive.

We've been through all this a thousand times before on here and it's boring, granted you probably haven't seen it coming from the north section. We know, the owner goes and we're fucked. Can we get back to some actual transfer rumours now?

Keep buying them onion rings and the marquee signings will continue flooding in.

He was like that for us for seven years, bar the final two or three months of the 2016-17 season when, incredible as it seems now, he was keeping Cook out of the side. He never endeared himself to the fans with his attitude and body language.

I don't think he really wants to be a footballer and will probably drift to obscurity when we release him in a few days time.

Right Back, Malta International. Certainly one of the better right backs in the National League I saw in our 2 years there.

Cheers. May be nothing in it but we do need a right back so good to hear he’s decent. Am I right in thinking Fleet are in the shit financially? If so could be an opportunity to get someone like him relatively cheaply

Yep - Apparently happy to let all their contracted players go for nothing - But only until the end of May.....................

Nathan Arnold has tweeted he is looking to make a return to football. Wonder who will land him?
Pleased he's looking to get involved. He's only 31 and has a few more years left yet.

He probably needed that year out to sort his private issues out and have a breather.

Jordan Parkes has left Hemel.
Heard about him but never seen him play. Is he National standard or likely to stay South?

National standard, earns decent money outside of football, don't think he has any interest in playing higher than he does now.

I heard this the other day, but thought Nah he ain't going there - Only if they offer him silly money. Rubbish rumour that won't come true.

Looks like my instincts were wrong..........

In the Eastleigh games I saw on TV, he didn't strike me as a proper target man like Solihull's style probably requires?

Neither is Adi Yussuf, and rumours are that he's off - probably a direct replacement for him.
