I quite liked Yeates when he was here a couple of years ago, but if he's a standout at this level then it definitely makes me feel a bit better about things.

Declaring Scott Loach as our first transfer rumour of the summer. Left Hartlepool to be closer to home apparently, is a boyhood Notts fan and was a not particularly subtle hint dropped in the local paper today. Would be absolutely fine with that.

Oh, also looks like we've sold teenager Kion Etete to Tottenham. He signed a professional contract earlier this year, so we'll at least not have been stung by EPPP and hopefully got a fee that we can use to pay that impending tax ball and start rebuilding the squad.

I think you'll find that Ryan Yates who you had on loan from your near neighbours (we had him on loan the season before) was way better than Mark Yeates in this league.

Willoughby would be a good signing - but don't expect anything there before the 5th June as he's in the England C team to play Estonia away that day.

Not a rumour but big Steve McNulty released by us yesterday. An absolute legend for our club in the four years he spent here. Ask any Luton fan they’ll tell you he’s treated like a king down them ways also.

Talk is that he isn’t finished yet and will play on. Anyone who seen our game Saturday will see what a winner he is, didn’t lose a header all game. Constantly gets written off but would still be the best defender in the national league. Well worth a punt in my opinion. Fylde, Wrexham, Solihull ect you could do a lot worse.
