LM was a player seemingly destined to fall out of the game, so it’s good to hear he started to show what he’s capable of at Halifax.

I’m not sure if he’s going to do much in L1 but time will tell.

What sort of player is he? We are desperate for a defensive midfield player and some fullbacks but don’t have the money to get players who are ready made championship quality. Hence scouring this level for bargains.

Good player is Khan. Not sure he's as good as some of the clubs supposedly watching him, and a lot of the interest will be from the goal he scored at Blackpool in the cup (a belter, admittedly). Deserves a shot a bit higher for sure though, very energetic and not afraid to get on the ball.

I remember him being highly rated when Blackpool signed him, but I've never been impressed the few times I've seen him.

As for Rooney, I said that I didn't care if he was released in the summer!

quite a few Barrow fans were uncertain about Rooney - some had him on the undecided list for who we kept and released at the end of last season - I was probably one of them - but with 18 goals and a lot of 9/10 performances he's probably one of the best midfielders in the National League this year.

Grant to Morecombe sounds entirely plausible. I can't imagine Fylde being interested, personally.

I don't think he's a bad player, but he seems a bit of a disruptive influence and I think we can do a lot better. He may suit L2 more than the Conference anyway.

Interesting one that. Seems like Stoke are cutting back on player numbers a bit. Rooster looking to get some of his lads set up with clubs and using his Wrexham connections maybe? Jarvis looks a belter of a signing from first view so more like that please.

The problem is, they aren't flush with cash as that will mostly go into paying off debts to Edinburgh Woollen Mill - the manager won't see much of it at all.
