Oyekele is too good for this level ability wise, but you'll do well to get 20 games out of him during that 2 years.

Hi Guys!

Tobi Sho-Silva is on his way out of Sutton United this summer, even if they stay down.

Him and his agent are concerned over playing time, after being sold the ‘dream’ of being the ideal strike partner for Omar Bugiel.

Many National League clubs are tracking his progress.

Likely to stay in the south.

Femi Akinwande (Stevenage) is one being looked at by a few clubs.

Stockport fans, we've been linked to Macauley Southam-Hales (along with Hull and Huddersfield). Thoughts?

Yeah he's decent, quick and direct, the fans like him.

Not sure about League One from the bits I've watched. Wouldn't say he's that good. Bit of a roadrunner really.

If you play wing backs, he's a good right wing back. But if you don't, he's one of those players who's probably not defensivley savvy enough for Right back and not tricky or techincal enough for wide midfield.

I've probably only seen him 8-10 time though. Others may comment clearer.

We’re bringing in a striker today I think. No suprise given we’ve not won in the 3 games Asante has been injured for.

Strong rumours it’s someone from Bradford via our links to Lee Turnbull

You have only got 4 or 5 fit strikers to be fair.

I liked him at Pools last season. Barely noticed Kioso had gone.

As said he's good going forward, definitely could play L2 but for a top end L1 signing you'd be underwhelmed.

No idea - wouldn’t put it past us for it to be one of Clayton Donaldson (can’t believe he’s still playing), Lee Novak or Danny Rowe. The latter two would be impressive and the meltdown from everyone else even better. Who knows, we certainly need on as Mitchell and Yussef don’t look capable of replacing the goals and work rate Asante brings and Tyson is 39.

I would vernam more fits substantially into your pressing style than the other three!

When Chesterfield were so impressive at ML a lot of that was down to Asante not letting our back four rest for a second (first half at least), I don’t see Rowe in that role?

I suspect the thinking is that we need someone to put the ball in the net and it doesn't go much deeper than that tbh

It’s Danny Rowe so :D
Every club must make a marquee signing before playing us, it's written somewhere in the National League's rulebook.

That or they must sack their manager right before.

Rowe looked about a stone overweight and barely bothered trying to move when we played Fylde just before he left last season, assume he’s sorted himself out since then!?!

Clubs desperately spending money trying to go up this season. But will it work as only one can go up via the play offs

Thanks, we don't play wing-backs. He sounds like Elbouzedi who we loaned to Bolton in January tbf.

Good luck to Danny at Chesterfield. Another in a long line of head scratching decisions at this football club to ship him out after a few months. As with nearly every striker we sign, we hoof it up to him and wonder why he's ineffective. Despite the limited game time he still managed 5 goals which is a miracle in this team.

It’s a good signing on paper, but I don’t remember a clamour to sign him/collective feeling of missing out when it was clear he was leaving Fylde and ended up at one of L2 lesser lights, and a basket case to boot (no offence to any Oldham fans reading).

Still, I would have taken him at ML, would have been a decent alternative to Wootton, who has gone off the boil somewhat lately.

He’d downed tools by then. He played 2 full seasons and won player of the year for the division in both seasons. Incredible player

He seems the sort who always wants to be the main man. Will he be at Chesterfield? They aren't quite as tinpot as Fylde. The fact he's been signed with a fanfare at both Oldham and Bradford and then only lasted half a season at both speaks volumes.
