Very much 'on brand' for the SPL.

I know it's not SPL but watched Morton v Montrose in the Championship relegation play off (mate is a Montrose fan) my god the standard was fucking terrible. The national league is like prime 1970s Brazil in comparison.

Not sure how he's managed to do it, but Justin Amaluzor has apparently signed for Motherwell.

Has this been reported anywhere? I never rated him during his time here, his touch was sloppy and his decision making questionable, though he is pretty strong and quick.

Along with Livingston "beating off competition from other SPL clubs" to sign Ayo Obileye, who was released last season by Ebbsfleet after relegation, it looks like the SPL is falling further and further down the English pyramid in search for players.

through bitter experience I hope we never again see the days of signing players who have scored hatfuls in the Scottish championship, or even worse....Scottish league 1. Useless to a man.

Yeah, Morton are full time but I've seen better technical standards in the Northern League. Montrose (part time) were absolutely knackered after an hour of not really even hanging on and could barely pass the ball 2 yards. I was a bit surprised particularly how poor Morton were as full time pros. I'm sure the likes of Hearts are better but even so. Dreadful.

Our manager confirmed he has signed for a SPL team & someone on our forum who's ''in the know'' said he's signed for Motherwell.

He wasnt good. Although to be fair to him when we signed him he then had some sort of rare blood disorder and was put for months. Weve managed to sign worse than him since.

He scored a winner against Celtic this season!

That would seem a sensible start for you. I think Murphy’s been injured a fair bit this season but scored goals when he’s fit, don’t know a lot about Bridge but Bromley are a solid side.

Good signing Murphy (injuries notwithstanding), wouldn’t have minded him at Notts, we haven’t really replaced Kristian Dennis’ goal poaching ability this season.

It's been obvious to everyone here that Murphy is off at the end of the season. He could be the best finisher in the league if he wasn't injured so much. He has that arrogant attitude that strikers need.

Injury prone you all say? Prefect fit for us then. Bridge - well he came through our youth academy, played about 10 times and was released. Since that he's been back twice on trial and not been able to get a contract so if he does turn up I find that a bizarre move.

TBH i'm not sure exactly how much of his latest period without playing is due to injury and how much due to not wanting to play.

What's happening with him, why has he downed tools? This guy sounds more and more like a perfect fit, injured and doesn't want to play, he'll be well happy when his wages are 6 months late.

at least he could also play CB, which helped when we had an injury crisis

if he had a full pre-season in him and didnt have that blood disorder, he may have been good foil for another striker and may have bagged himself 10 goals

Yes, very good player. Young attacking midfielder who’s chipped in with some goals and assists and got potential to kick on. Think we are resigned to losing him next season to be honest so wouldn’t shock me

If we’re only getting 100k for Pollock then we’ve been well and truly shafted.

Very disappointed it’s only 100k, add ons are all well and good but I don’t see him getting sold on for a multi million pound fee, never know what the other add ons could be though.

Confirmed as being £250,000, nice extra cash for the club.

£350,000 in the bank already this summer with at least £500,000 extra likely to come in from any Dembele sell on

I think the Dembele sell on should be a lot more than that, 25% of any profit and surely he will go for more than 2M?
