I did say I couldn’t vouch for whether it was true! We’ll have to go back to Sterry.

Not sure we’ve had a single signing rumoured before they turn up since the Danes took over. Their operation is annoyingly tight and quiet.

Phil Brown's confirmed Southend are still in talks with a current National League striker. Also offered a contract to the cursed Nathan Ralph, spent the last 2 seasons barely playing due to major injuries and he's now on a run of 4 straight relegations. Brown said other clubs have made him offers but I'd say take him on at your peril.

I've got no idea who it could be. Even with his goal scoring record I'd hope we steer clear of Hyde because of his injury record. The club has been beset with ridiculous injuries for over 3 years now, stuff that just doesn't even seem possible. To add a known injury prone player to the mix, for me, would be stupid.

Nathan Ralph played for us for three seasons. The first one we got promoted but the last two we were relegated.

Nope not heard his name mentioned anywhere but we definitely need wide men. Is he the guy you brought on just to take a pen in the final?

Aye and scored down your place when we won, be a shame if he goes but since we changed formation and stopped playing with wingers we couldn't find a place for him, I hope he stays but he'd be a very good signing if it turns out to be true.

Mullin is a weird one, if Wrexham had signed him a year ago no one would have batted of an eyelid. Had some season out of absolutely nowhere.

He was brilliant for us in his first season, Him and Pearson had a really good partnership. He was very error prone in his second season, and it was no surprise Keates moved him on (although joke was on us as he went up to L2)

Hes a solid defender at this level. Capable of mistakes but we've had far worse.

Agree with all of this. Was a bit disappointed he was let go to be honest, but ultimately we replaced him with better last season

He'd be a good signing for Halifax. Reckon he could form a part of a backline looking for promotion if utilised correctly but you'll need someone with pace to compliment him.
