Now that wouldn’t actually surprise me. One of him or Whittle will 100% be leaving after we signed Miller, it’s just a case of who…

I really like Taylor, ability wise he is exceptional, however does have a tendency to switch off and his defending in general is suspect to say the least. If you do sign him, and you play him as a wing back with a very good left sided CB you will have an outstanding player as he can just focus on attacking then. Play him as a LB in a flat back 4 and you’d be in trouble!!

Having thought about it, Taylor is the more similar player to Miller than Whittle, so I can see him being the most likely to one to leave as Whittle is more of a defensive minded wing back really..

Where’s the rumour come from?

You might as well have just described Miller there - maybe we’re just swapping! It’s one of a few names I’ve heard, but just seen a couple of completely different people mentioning him on Twitter which I usually take as a sign that there might be something in it.

We’re really attacking as it is, so sounds like the kind of player we might well go for. We’ll be playing 3-4-3 most of the time, we look to be trying to build three options on the side of the defence - we’ve got Kyle Cameron as ‘big left footed centre back’, Adam Chicksen as wider left footed centre back in a three/orthodox full back, we just need an attacking wing back now really.

Yeah that’s why I think if one of Taylor or Whittle is to leave, then Taylor may be the one that makes sense as he’s so similar to Miller.

Don’t get me wrong though, I really hope he stays because he is so good going forward. If you were to sign him I’d suspect you’d have to pay a fee, and I’m sure we’d be looking to make a profit on the small fee we paid Chester to bring him in last season!

To be fair Halifax have had a couple of good seasons at the top end of the table so following their usual trends isn't this due to be a relegation season?
We always flirt with it but we've only actually been relegated the once. Hoping we can have another solid season

And yet fair weather supporter B2TF still wanted Torquay to beat Hartlepool in the play offs after WHAT THEY DID to you in that relegation season.

We are not all to be tarred with the same brush. He's an embarrassment to other Halifax fans on here and he doesnt even go on ours not sure if he left of his own accord or he got banned but an absolute muppet.

To be fair I wanted Torquay to win the play offs aswell. From a purely financial point of view having Hartlepool coming to the Shay would have been far more profitable than Torquay.

Within the next two weeks we will make a signing that will be even more massive than anything ever seen in Massiveville Massachusetts. This signing of an outstanding ATTACKER will so blow your minds that you give up all hope of winning the league this season. Saturday evening too many beers wishful thinking syndrome strikes again.

Massiveville massachusetts!!!

I’ve seen some absolute shite that has been spouted on here in the past (and probably some of it by me tbf) but if I ever start typing weird shit like that admin please ban me. That’s worse than anything BT2F or chipmunx have ever posted and that’s saying something

Jerome Binnom-Williams also played for us today
Always just a second away from a mistake. Inbetween some flashes of quality. I remember him scoring a goal for us doing multiple stepovers before hitting it top bins. Overall too many mistakes and lapses of concentration in his time with us

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Oh no. Do not do it to yourselves. He was awful for us, there’s no other way to put it.
Destined for Aldershot, then. Adam Liddle on trial yesterday.

I remember we tried to get Binnom-Williams in on loan a few years ago and we were warned he had a "big time" attitude so we quickly withdrew our interest. He looked good in League One for Burton I think it was but his career has gone downhill ever since...

The only thing that's big time about him is his fast food orders.

Apparently the next signing is going to disappoint us all.

Definitely James Hanson innit?
Hanson would be a good signing at this level as long as you're not expecting a full season out of him. Could do a great job as an impact player a la Matt Rhead Mansfield 2012/13.

I can't see why he'd turn Shrewsbury down unless we threw a ton of money at him. Aren't they his boyhood club?

I suppose a 6 figure fee could put them off.
