Aldershot BEEF now, out of nowhere. Add it to The List.

Southend fans: Kyle Taylor, any good? Looks like we’re signing him from Bournemouth on a permanent.
Be really interested to see how he does, he had two bouts of covid if I'm right. Before he got covid he was one of the better players in the shambles of last season after he came back from covid he was as bad as the others. Then he didn't play much and when he did he looked knackered, many rumours he had or still does have long covid.
Hope he does well for Exeter and has got over his illness issues.

Ah that’s interesting, cheers. Hopefully he’s over it. He played 90 minutes for Bournemouth in the league cup last week, and played in a few of their pre season games, so fingers crossed he’s over the worst. We’ve given him a 3 year deal so hopefully he can get regular games and have some potential resale value in the future.

Fellow on our forum (who's usually right about these things) reckons we're due to sign Harry Cardwell from Chorley for a small fee, and Zeki Fryers who's a free agent.

The former dropped off significantly after a promising start during a loan spell here last season, but at least he's a target man we've been crying out for (and has AMAZING hair), the latter has spent his career at much higher levels but has barely played so it's hard to know what we're getting out of him.

Cardwell works hard but that’s about all the positives that we saw (good looking bloke aside).
I would be disappointed if we resigned him.

From his inconsistent loan spell he’s an okay NL targetman and as Forza says we’re desperate for a placeholder for Quigley. His worth to us right this minute is more than it would be for other clubs.

Stockport County.
Cardwell is just average. Handsome but average.

My mate's sister used to knock about with Zeki Fryers. Nice guy but his career probably hasn't gone the way he expected to if he's ending up in the NL and when I spoke to him at the time he was working towards beiing back up to Patrice Evra at United.

Caldwell was one of the hardest working players we had but sadly, he couldn’t finish his fucking dinner.

The world has been a mad place this past 18 months but nothing is more mad than a club paying a fee for Harry Cardwell
We pay a fee for everyone

We'd probably pay a fee to bring you onto our message board

Three year contract 'n all

Ira Jackson Jr has now officially been let go, presumably to roll up at a club near you. Nice lad but don’t think he has it in him to be a full-time pro.

So lump on him to be topscorer in the division for Borehamwood then.
Think Hartlepool gave him a trial a few weeks back? I may be wrong.
Personally think he'll end up at a lower league conference club or someone in the South division.

We did, he played one pre season game against the dog and duck and was never seen again.

Weirdly, that website regularly have Omar Bogle stories so it’s not as daft as it looks on first viewing.

I would've taken Omar Bogle at Pools but looks like we're signing Andy Carroll on 22k p.w instead
