I wouldn't worry about us too much financially we are in an excellent position. What with our season ticket sales and sponsorship deals we probably won't even need to spend our oil money
Still, you've probably ensured that you'll be spending more than you would have been by talking about how massive you're going in the next window. I'm sort of looking more forward to seeing who you get than I am about any Town improvements.

We would get fleeced anyway like we did over Tozer, it's hardly a secret we've got a lot of money. Talk of up to 7 players coming in, which would be quite mental.

2 Midfielders and another striker is what we need, assuming Mullin stays.

I think it's guaranteed everyone will have an opinion who ever we sign.
All the names mentioned so far seem to have come from the fans rather than the club.
An interview by Shaun Harvey suggests PP list had been drawn up by the end of November and the negotiation of deals will be done through December ready for signings mainly in early January.
Exciting times for Wrexham fans

Seeing rumours Southend United are interested in an Alfreton Town midfielder.
Think he (Bailey Hobson) can do much better. No offence

We’ll definitely be looking at Hobson with his profile, just depends how he stacks up ‘statistically’ I guess.

This is promising from our end. We’re actually looking in the right places for players now. We just need to pay our fucking tax bill and then you never know we might actually get some players in and turn the ship

To be fair they are a big club at this level and once they sort their shit out they will be a permanent fixture at the top end of this league, obviously this seasons a write off for them but I expect the next couple of seasons after this one they will be play offs minimum.

For the type of players we will be going for, we will have to pay extra just so that the chairman of the selling club can slam us for the amount of money we spent to save face.....See the Tozer saga for evidence.

I expect one stupidly big signing in midfield, someone like Woodyard who we shouldn't be getting in a million years, another midfielder and a striker.

Shooting for these higher level players and expecting it to work in this league is having mixed results, Mullin and Tozer have been successes but the jury is out on Jones and Hayden....We obviously have a plan to build the bones of a team to compete top end of league 2 or in league 1 so we are reaching for players successful at that level and giving them 3 year deals.

FWIW, the talk i have heard from people who used to know bits and pieces points to Callum Guy, Woodyard and Rodrigues as players we have major interest in....The club is a lot less leaky then it used to be though.

Jones looked decent against us. Has he been poor since then then?

The game passes him by, to be fair, the same goes for Davies and Young with the style of football we play.

Really the midfield dynamic just isn't right, we need the DM kind of player to put his foot on the ball and control the tempo of the game, if we get the right player for that role then it will allow Young/Davies/Jones to play their more suited positions further forward.

It's a key signing for us

You're optimistic that Ron will stop dicking us about and run us properly again? Or he'll actually sell up? Please tell me it's the second option.

For your sake I hope it is.
I’d forgotten you still had that idiot running things when I made my post to be fair.

Are they usually fairly accurate?
I think atleast 2 of the lads who do it are reporters so have a few contacts but who knows but we have been playing arguably our best RB at LB recently since Reckord was dropped so It would make sense we'd be in for a left back

I'm starting the Wrexham transfer rumour XI. Wonder if we can get if filled out before the window opens. We'll go with a 4-3-3 for starters as we've had 3 CMs and 3 attackers. 7/11ths of an absolutely brilliant team at this level to be fair...

????
????---????---????---Brough
Wilshire---Lowery---Woodyard
Norwood---Pigott---Rodrigues

BBC Essex reckon that Southend had three players ready to sign when they got put under embargo, all of them now having ended up at Notts or Grimsby.

One is Richardson who we picked up from Forest and ironically had a blinder against Southend on his debut, guessing Maguire-Drew would be another?

JMD definitely fits into the "was good in the Conference around 2016ish" model that Phil Brown adopted in the summer.

Rumours however reliable that several league 2 clubs might be after our skipper Niall Maher. Been with the club for 3 years but he's really come into his own this last couple of seasons and especially since getting the armband in the summer.

26 year old centre back. Not the biggest but generally reads the game well

Wasn’t particularly impressive against us but he has scored a few from midfield this season. Wrexham fans think they might be in for him. Have the stags been linked?

Yeah, although it may just be the ex Burton thing.

Clough been to a couple of county games this season too, for what it’s worth.

Yeah he's been one of their better players by all accounts. He's rapid. Came off the bench and ran the entire length of the pitch to score on the break vs us.

He is also the smallest player in the history of the game
