No, funnily enough I actually think that having shitloads of money and being able to buy players the rest of the division can only dream of is what will give you some sort of advantage in the second half of the season.

And yeah I was pleased with myself after that, but I'm upgrading that to very pleased after that TRIGGERING.

I think you've been interacting with BTTF too much, he's rubbing off on you.

I only block pricks from Chesterfield
Definitely triggered. All that money and nobody wants it. It's gonna be tough for them next season.
Well just as tough as the last 14+ . I'm on his block list but you know he knows I'm laughing. :):):)

If we are only expecting to get two in this window they had better be top quality.
To be honest, I don't think we are strong enough to go up this time (even if we strengthen next week).
I do expect us to mount a better challenge next season if that's the case especially with a summer transfer window to come....

Stockport County.
Hiya Stocky, quick genuine question. Do you think your board have an eye on the wage budget and salary cap coming in next season and that is an influence on missing out on a couple of transfer targets?

For us having had to work under one last season, Grimsby too, that may be why we have a bit of space in our wage budget possibly, your thoughts?
As WNM says, our club don't think the salary cap would pass. I think the idea is for it to be a "soft salary cap" which means it's based on your earnings etc which can be easily got around with sponsors etc. I don't think any salary cap will go through.

Haha, There won't be no Dover to save you from relegation next season. Good to see you punching above your wait this season though.
Looking forward to your visit in April after we’ve played Stockport, Bromley and Halifax. Even you boys will take pity on us then, we can offer up our MP as a sacrificial lamb.

Cal Roberts to Chesterfield is now back ON after Rowe threatened the board with terrible long ball football on Saturday. An eye watering bid has been approved which a club the size of Notts just cannot turn down. Welcome Cal.

I prefer my timeline where you’ve accidentally woken him up and he’s suddenly back to ‘best player in the league (tm)’ status, scoring hat-tricks every week.

Cal Roberts mum direct messaged James Rowe on Twitter begging him to sign Cal. She seems quite active on social media. She’s afraid Burchnall is going to block his potential life changing move to the Spireites.

Palmer or whoever it is will be good. We need more attacking options with Hyde out. We desperately need more in midfield though.

Apparently we’re signing midfielder Arjen Raikhy on loan from Aston Villa.

If we sign and announce Palmer, is this Gary lad from Wimbledon still going to deny he's coming here?

After signing a striker to help Mullin, I think we're just one midfielder away. James Jones was fine yesterday and Jordan Davies has had another good season, but Luke Young is too similar to the pair of them and lacks their ability. If we had that defensive midfielder in there to allow Jones and Davies to play with a bit more freedom, and take a bit of the weight off the defence I think we'd be flying.

I'd probably add another midfielder and a left back to beef up the squad but maybe that's just me being greedy.

Surely this can’t be sustainable? You must have spent nearly a million in transfer fees alone since the American’s came in. I get that they’re minted, but surely there’s going to come a point when Reynold’s wakes up and wonders why he’s spending 200k on a bang average League 1 striker, particularly when promotion is looking unlikely for you lot this season?
Not even an average L1 striker, although, the rumoured fee aside, he'll do ok for Wrexham.

We haven't spent anything like that, nearer £400k I would guess. Hayden, Hyde & Tozer are the only players we've paid a fee for I think.

It's been done to death but we're getting 8k fans at home games and have some crazy money sponsorship deals. I doubt R&R have put anything in since the £2m they bought the club for.
And Jones. Speaking of which, how's he doing? I'm gonna guess that you've not really noticed him doing that much.

Tozer 200k, Hayden 180k, Hyde 50k

I agree with people saying we have overspent on the players we have paid for but we you looked at the 2mill original investment, record shirt sales, big crowds, big sponsorship deals and the documentary we've spent little of what we've made
Just a general comment here, not aimed specifically at you Dan, but I'll never understand why people mention shirt sales. Clubs are lucky to get 10% of a shirt sale, in the lower league it's probably 5%.
