Petey Wild can make silk purses out of sows ears though. It's a Halifax thing.
It would be a good move for Jak. He has the ability but isn’t consistent and just tries to score from 40 yards all the time.

Someone's already managed to get a snap of me drinking in the pub last weekend.

Most normal football fans buy replica shirts GEORGE . The miserable gits who say football shirts are only worn by kids and fat losers are smaller in number than you might think, you're in the minority.

Very surprised to hear that. All the lads I've ever gone with bar a Wembley final. Never wear any replica gear -- especially the club shirt. The only times I wore club colours was a scarf and bobble hat back in the early 60's. Mind you its definately not as bad as taking a drum to a match.

Maybe it's just some areas then but definitely more of our fans wear them than those who don't on match days. I'm not just on about the latest top that's out at the time, I don't buy the home/away shirt every year.

Whenever I've been away with Wales, you also stand out like a sore thumb if you aren't in a replica top, whether it be retro or new.
International I would agree with but not on the club level from my experience.

Tall gangly midfielder with an air of quality around him, lovely range of passing, however he barely featured for us due to fitness issues/Sarcevic joining.
Yeah good attitude, energy and passing but potentially a little lightweight and passive.

Rusk froze him out after he said he was fine to start but was ill and had to be hooked in the first half.

I presumed he would shine under Challinor but didn’t do enough in training/reserve games to get a start.

He’s a black targetman who wasn’t prolific and was a bit unsteady on his feet so you can imagine why some got on his back.

Under Hamann he also wasn’t very good but he was probably the closest we got again to prime Dicko under Jim and as you say went up the leagues and he got older and better.

We’ve got to be realistic when we’ve spent so much on Quigley and Madden are we know they are first choice.
We had him on loan from Leeds a year or two before that, he was genuinely one of the worst players i'd ever seen, i've no idea how he's carved a lower league career out for himself. Absolutely atrocious.

Patterson is staying at Sunderland now because their first choice ‘keeper has got heart problems following Covid.

Rubbish news for us, but hope the guy’s okay mainly. Scary stuff.

Gannon got hold him and moulded him and that set him on his way.

Raikhy dubbed the "Punjabi Pirlo" by Villa fans was of course "going to rip up that league" was going "to be far too good for that level" "baller"

He did look like he had talent in him to be fair, would just randomly dig out a lovely ball and no doubt has quality but neither Rusk or Challinor (so we can't just blame big bad Steve Rusk for this) really pinned him in. When he played he flitted in and out mentally almost and ended up getting nowhere near our team. Typical young player at this level. Not sure Hurst and the revolving door at Grimsby is a great move for him to be honest but he's a talented player.

No problem at all with getting Ollie Palmer in....but we really need something else in midfield. Hopefully by the end of the month we will.

100%, Mullins been working off scraps all season, all good and well getting another forward in but if we can't put a decent midfield behind them it's a waste of time

Mental, we’d probably sell you Wootton for a third of that.

"His signing for Wrexham was completed by Wrexham fan, Leon Taraborelli reportedly picked him up from his 2 bed flat in Wimbledon in a Vauxhall Corsa while listening to Scooter the whole journey to North Wales"

Well money talks I guess. If you've paid that much for him it's a decent deal for us .
3.5 year deal I'm hearing. Seems mental but I guess we've got our man, so.

There is bankrolled but this is another level, making Salford look like Wealdstone.
